Built in 1979 and fully renovated and updated in 2016-2017, this 2194 sqft (204 qm) pool home on a Gulf-access canal is Old Florida, modernized and at its best! The sunny southern exposure overlooking the pool and canal adds to the light and open feeling of this beautiful Villa.

With 4 bedrooms and 3 baths, formal and informal sitting and dining areas, large open kitchen with indoor and outdoor breakfast bars, wine cooler, kitchen pass-through window to the lanai/pool area, laundry facility, dock with fireplace and boat lift, Villa Mariola offers style, comfort and charm.

Guest rooms include the Ocean Room, a large Master King suite opening onto the lanai, pool, and canal beyond, with a big double-vanity master bath and huge walk-in closet. Next is the Seashell Room, a large queen bedroom with walk-in closet overlooking the canal and adjacent to the pool and pool bath. Third is the Turtle Room, a queen room with a garden view and large wall-length closet. Finally, young guests will love the Mermaid Room, a garden view room which can sleep up to 4 children comfortably in a twin over full bunk bed with twin trundle bed pullout. A stairway leads to the upper twin bunk. This room has an adequate walk-in closet and plenty of drawer storage in the bunk stairs. The Mermaid Room and the Turtle Room share a large double vanity bath and are ideal for a couple with children.

Located on a quiet street in a desirable area near Midpoint Bridge in Southeast Cape Coral, this Villa is just minutes from shopping, supermarket, and great dining. Close, convenient access to the Gulf of Mexico barrier islands of Pine Island, Sanibel/Captiva Islands, and Estero Island/Fort Myers Beach, as well as close access to Interstate Highway 75 (15 minutes) and Southwest Florida International Airport (30 minutes), place this Villa in a perfect location.

Four TVs are located in the Ocean and Seashell Rooms and the formal and informal sitting/dining areas. HDTV, wifi, and DVD are provided. Explore and fish the canals in the 3-person canoe, or take the bicycles for a relaxing ride. The pool is heated and inviting, and the gas grill is ready for your pool party! Relax and enjoy!

Fun in the sun

Our stay was most enjoyable. The booking The person managing was not only helpful with explaining the accommodations but provided insight into local restaurants to beaches and other activities. The pool was in excellent condition warm and crystal clear, perfect for our family. The only issue was that it was spring break and it took quite an effort to get to beeches. Other than that excellent visit

wonderful

Two families stayed in this home with more than enough space. The home was clean and equipped with everything, including board games, a potty and garlic mincer! We sat outside by the fire one night which was beautiful. Overall it was a wonderful experience and beautiful vacation home. I would highly recommend (especially for families with kids). It was a bit far from beaches though

Beautiful house!

We stayed at Villa Mariola February 7-28.. We had an absolutely wonderful time! The house is very clean and comfortable and kitchen is very well equipt. The heated pool was our favorite!

Management answered all our questions and were a pleasure to work with. Very close to shopping and restaurants. I highly recommend this rental..Thank you!

Great stay

My husband and I stayed at Villa Mariola January 15 thru 29 2018. Although it was much more house than 2 people need, we very much enjoyed our stay. We felt fortunate to get this rental, as we usually stay in Marco island, but found our rental not ready after Hurricane irma. So we came to the Cape Coral area and were very pleased. The home is all very freshly decorated and supplied with everything one needs for their stay. Any situations were promptly taken care of by the management. Would definitely recommend this rental. There are lots of great places to explore, shopping is very nearby. The house is in a nice quiet neighborhood. Enjoyed sitting down by the canal, even saw manatee. The only thing I would have changed was the weather, which one never knows what it will be like in january , fortunately the home was a pleasure to be at whether inside or outside.

Southwest Florida is the region in the state of Florida, also known as the “Sunshine State”, that extends along the coast of the Gulf of Mexico. To be more exact: Southerly of the region of the bay of Tampa, westerly of the Lake Okeechobee and northerly of the Everglades. The region consists of 5 counties located at the coast, from Manatee County in the North, to Collier County in the South. But the best known and most liked is Lee County, where Cape Coral is situated, the biggest town with a calculated number of citizens of 180.000.

Due to the pleasant temperatures around 25 to 30 degrees C° during all year, Southwest Florida above all symbolizes for tourists sunshine, charming beaches, water sports, playing golf boating, shopping, making excursions, or just relaxing and enjoying delicious food.

A paradise for golfers, for beginners as well!

Radiating sun, ideal temperatures of 25 °C in the shadow, and more than 1.100 golf courses. Many of them are so beautiful, that one might have difficulties to concentrate on the game. The greens are huge and fast, in short, they are in a condition to make one shiver remembering the winter-greens at home. All that is only nine hours per plane away. Florida is the perfect destination for those, who want to play Golf also in autumn and winter, the climate is ideal for that purpose from October to May. Who likes it really warm, of course can also play in summer, and take advantage of the cheaper green fees at that season.

Just in a radius of 1 hour driving time around Cape Coral you will find more then 100 golf courses. Most of them can be used by paying a green fee, some of them are “private courses”, which does not really matter, considering the big amount of courses to choose from. Like almost everything in life, the feeling about the quality of a golf course is a matter of taste.

Some rather prefer the kind of rustic character of the typical “public course”, where you can meet (in the most positive sense) the whole bandwidth of the American society. These courses, in most cases, are maintained and cared in the same way that much more expensive facilities, although, due to their lower green fee, they are much more frequented. A good example for that very nice kind of course is the “Coral Oaks Golf Course” in Cape Coral.

Others rather prefer the advantages provided by more exclusive facilities, which often are part of exclusive Hotels or Resorts. Fashionable club houses, famous architects, few players on the course, sophisticated landscape designs also away from the fairways and greens are typical characteristics of that kind of facilities. That kind of luxury, which from time to time is definitely worth to enjoy it, must be purchased with an accordingly higher green fee. Two of many examples of such facilities: The “Ritz-Carlton Tiburón Golf Course” designed by Greg Norman, or the “Old Corkscrew Golf Club” designed by Jack Nicklaus.

In the middle of this spectrum, you will find many wonderful courses, which often are part of so called golf communities. Some examples: River Hall Country Club, Magnolia Landing, Pelican Preserve or Pelican´s Nest.

A suggestion: Create a list of golf courses where you would like to play, before you start your trip. Book your tee-times for the courses where you want to play at first through the homepage of the respective facility, or through a portal like www.golfnow.com. If you only travel in twos, or you are willing to take some risk in a bigger group, it will maybe a good idea not to book all start-times in advance. So you can maintain your flexibility, in order to react to positive surprises, or good advices beeing on site. Maybe that you like a course that much, that you want to play it again. Also important: Calculate enough time for the drive to the course, the check-in procedure and the driving range.
