Studios on 25th is the perfect place to stay for any type of vacation. For me it was a "staycation " while my boyfriend was visiting from NZ. I loved the location. It is close to so many restaurants and bars, as well as a grocery store. It is so close to downtown, which provides the option of having many things to do and see. The property was spotless. It was so clean that it felt like a home. The amenities are fantastic as well. I enjoyed cooking in the kitchen because it was updated and clean. It was nice being provided with pots, pans, mixing bowls, dinnerware, and silverware. The two most important things for me are the cleanliness of the bathroom and bed....each went beyond my expectations. I looked forward to getting in that bed every night. It was also nice having a laundry facility. I would highly recommend Studios on 25th to anyone. Price is great, the room was fabulous, the owner (Danielle) was super nice, and overall I had zero issues. Job well done Danielle! I can't wait to come stay again!
Home away from home!
The studio was a perfect place to stay, it was located in a good, quiet and safe location. I was visiting from Los Angeles, CA my friend who lives in Atlanta for the first time, and I had a great time. The bed was very comfortable and the studio was very cozy and clean. If I ever come back to Atlanta I would definitely stay here again.
Opposite of painless
Yes, it was in Midtown...but that was about all it had going for it.
The week before, we got an email requiring us to basically re-register for our stay (isn't that the point of VRBO??), submit a credit card for damages (so now a random property management company has our credit card) submit a picture of my drivers license (and they now have a pic of my unique ID) and a selfie of me HOLDING my drivers license. Geez. And if I didn't do this, I would be refused the stay, even though I already paid. So begrudgingly I provided the info.
I hoped this was the last of it, but when we got there I had to basically register AGAIN within 12 hours or I would be locked out of the apartment. I had to provide yet another selfie, this time one of me on the stained couch.
This property manament company has some trust issues.
If that wasn't bad enough, the place kinda grossed me out. On the surface it was clean enough, but suspicious (and plentiful) stains on the couch, perma-dirty baseboards, and shoddy plumbing repairs made me not want to be in the place more than we had to.
We had to fill out a cleaning checklist on the way out. A CLEANING CHECKLIST! I felt like I was back in my college dorms. We even had to take out our own trash, (OR ELSE!) even though they had a maid to clean the place after we left. (The reason we knew they had a maid is because she knocked on our door an hour before checkout, trying to get in to clean the place.)
I was terrified the entire time that I was going to break one of their many rules and get charged an exorbanent fee for something stupid. ($25 to replace a dollar store scratchy washcloth if it got any sort of stain on it?! Really?!)
I might have felt differently about the whole thing if we were renting from a PERSON, but we were renting from "professional" property management company...who made the process more complicated than it needed to be.
I use VRBO so I don't have to get a hotel. And at the end, I wished I would have just got a hotel. It would have been more accommodating, cleaner, and trusting.
We take all reviews seriously.
Grateful, appreciative and complimentary are the words which describe the majority of our guests. As anyone can read from nearly all our other reviews of our property and people, our typical guest is pleasantly surprised to find for under $100/night in the center of the city, a safe, clean and well-appointed accommodation.
Many of our favorite restaurants are within a short walk and we have easy access to the core of Buckhead, Midtown, Downtown and the freeways. Being only block to Piedmont Hospital and The Shepherd Center, we provide affordable housing for families encountering tough times – and they write letters thanking us for all we’ve done for them.
HomeAway/VRBO does only MINIMAL credentialing of guests and the truth is, we have been victims of HomeAway/VRBO fraud - they do not protect us or you from credit card fraud or identity theft. In fact, if the guest initiates a chargeback to HomeAway/VRBO due to a stolen credit card, it is passed directly to us to defend. At that point, they require the property owner to prove that YOU are who you say you are and that you in fact stayed with us. Since we get chargebacks from HomeAway/VRBO every few months, you are correct, we do not trust the guest information provided by HomeAway/VRBO.
We are not some “random property management company”. Our company, “BCA Residential”, specializes in Vacation and Corporate Rentals - since 2009, and has been leading the way in secure guest transactions.
We pride ourselves on providing a clean and comfortable home-away-from-home. The buildings were built in 1959. Because of their age and that they are 100% concrete it is cost prohibitive and wasteful to replace the plumbing. Each apartment, including the plumbing, is kept in good operating condition as is on a maintenance plan. We also have the upholstery cleaned regularly or as issues arise.
A property management company has more to lose than a person. We are also a family run business. A person may only have 1 property but we have 33. That’s 33 times more guests and the potential for damage to our property. Just because you are renting from a person vs a property management company does not mean that a guest has the leeway to trash the property. We believe it’s only common courtesy to return your accommodation in the condition you received it.
I have already started working with the property manager to make our policies clearer.
I loved this apartment. It was very comfortable and affordable.
There was only one reason I didn't give a Five star...smoking from another occupant kept me from sleeping one night.
Fabulous Apartment Studios
My boyfriend and I went on our first vacation together. We were lucky enough to find this apt Studio, the room exceeded our expectations. The apartment is very modern and clean. The queen mattress was extremely comfortable we slept like a baby. The location was perfect in a nice quite, safe neighborhood, my boyfriend and I felt safe enough to walk at night to the local restaurants. Mr. Dee was GREAT - quick to answer and made sure our needs were met. Next time when we come to Atlanta we'll definitely staying here again!!!!!!
Great location, very quiet and safe
The studio apt was very cozy and had everything you need for your stay. All you'd have to do is shop for a few groceries and you're good to go. We had a small issue with the TV and called the service desk. The girl on duty was very helpful and assisted us getting it back on line with Direct TV right away. Awesome little restaurants the locals eat at were so good. Have breakfast at the Egg Harbor Cafe one block to you left from the apt. On Peachtree St. Also had pizza at Albrita's (spelling my be a little off) but within two miles of the apt. We went to the aquarium and also attended a concert. Overall we had a great time and enjoyed our stay at the Studios on 25th. We would stay here again.
