Enjoy the BLISS!
Prime location. One minute to Wawel Royal Castle and 5 minutes to the Main Square, Mariacki Church, Cloth Hall, and Vistula River. Situated in a safe and quiet area. The apartment is on the 4th floor and there is an elevator in the building. It has been fully equipped and remodeled for your enjoyment. To keep you connected to your friends and family there is an internet connection. Bakery, restaurants and stores around the corner. There is a washer, dryer, dishwasher, hair dryer, and iron. No car necessary. You can walk everywhere.
I live with my family in a suburb by Chicago, Illinois. I grew up in Poland until I was 19 years old and then I moved to the United States. I have two great kids: Jessica and Adrian.
I go to Krakow to relax and to enjoy life. I walk around and visit old historical places, eat Polish food, and seat and watch people on the Main Square.
The Owner purchased this apartment in 2009
They say that there are 3 important things about real estate: LOCATION, LOCATION AND LOCATION. And this apartment has it. Close to everything. Wawel (Royal Castle) and Main Square just minutes away. It is indeed BLISS in Krakow!!!
There is a terrific bakery on the corner. They sell many kind of different bread and their pastries are just blissful! Apartment is located in a very safe area and in a secured building.
I can only reinforce the other positive reviews. The apartment is well-located, comfortable and clean, and supplied with everything you will need for a pleasant stay. On the top floor of a nicely restored building with a reliable elevator, it has it's own balcony overlooking a courtyard. Julita was always prompt replying to our inquiries and her mom, Krystina, was there to greet us and get us settled in. Plusses especially worth noting -- a great shower with plenty of space and hot water; and good washer, dryer, and dishwasher; and Krakow's beautiful river walk that is only a couple of blocks away.
We have traveled a fair amount and we use VRBO as much as we can. This apartment is one of our favorites. 1) Location! (near a major tram intersection). 2) comfort and beauty (decent bed, good sitting, great WiFi, good kitchen, elevator, nice inner yard view, so quiet you can hear the church tower bugler in the middle of the night). 3) Well Stocked for Arrival (& this is why you should rent this apartment: Coffee, five kinds of tea, bread, milk and cheese for breakfast already in the fridge, soap and shampoo and big fluffy towels in the bathroom. Two sets of keys, basic spices and cooking oils and real (not Ikea!) knives in the drawers. Also - umbrella and several shopping bags for the stores (Europe is very "bring your own")). 4) Good advice for shopping, eating, and a warm, gracious welcoming. There was outside work being done on the building and this apartment was so exceptional that it didn't matter. This is one of the best apartments in the catalogue.
My friend and I stayed in this wonderful property. The location is perfect - just a few minutes walk from the town square. I recommend this place and it is a very good alternative to hotel. The owner responded timely on all our questions before arrival and her mother was very helpful when we arrived Krakow. I will book this property next time I am in Krakow. Thank you!
Fantastic property. We had a wonderful time. The town square was a short walk through the park. Bakery on the the corner and supermarket down the block. Just a great location. The apartment was clean and well maintained. The owner's mother was extremely helpful in answering all our questions. We felt very comfortable. I would gladly recommend this apartment to our family and friends. We only stayed for three days, next time for at least a week. Krakow is so beautiful, friendly, reasonable and it has so much history. We can't wait to come back.
Cute apartment close to the old town. The owner's mother met us at the building door when we arrived. She showed us everything we needed to know, left information and maps. She spoke some English, just a very sweet lady! The apartment was clean and neat and nice and quiet. I hope that we can return to Krakow someday and will be able to stay here again. Thank you so much!
We just spent 6 nights in this charming apartment. Krytyna, Julita's mother, greeted us and showed us how to use everything. She even had some food in the fridge for us so we didn't need to locate the grocery store immediately. Everything you could need was there. We loved our stay in Krakow. You can walk to almost everything from this apartment. Once we got the hang of the trams, even that was easy. We highly recommend this apartment and visiting Krakow. We hope to return
