Our Quartermile apartment is a stunning and comfortable 2 bedroom apartment located in Edinburgh city centre, just a few minutes walk from the Royal Mile. It's on the 4th floor of a popular luxury development, and faces towards the park and beyond... no street noise!

The Quartermile apartment has 2 bedrooms and for the 5th guest there is a comfy double sofa bed in the living room - recommended for teenagers and younger. Travel cot also available.

The living room is lovely and bright, and the sofa with chaise longue is extremely comfortable, It's an open floorplan opens to a dining area and the kitchen (the area is much larger than it looks in the photos). The living room glass wall is the width of the room and slides open, just lovely fresh air in the warm weather. The kitchen is fully equipped including dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave etc. There's also a laundry room with a washer and a separate tumble dryer.

There's a bathroom with bath, shower, wc and sink and also a showerroom with walk in shower, sink, wc.

Extras: - Wifi internet. Complimentary coffee, tea, sugar, and fresh milk in fridge. Towels, linens, tea towels, new washing up sponge, dishwasher tablets, laundry detergent all provided.

Within the actual development there's a good sized Sainsburys grocery shop, a Starbucks, Peters yard cafe and bakery, and restaurants. On the doorstep there are many restaurants, cafes, pubs, National Museum of Scotland, taxi ranks, pharmacys etc. The Royal Mile is just over a 5 minutes walk away.

There is a parking garage at the Quartermile and it is by pay and display - ask for details. Managed by Astra and Avril of Edinburgh Villa, with great reviews for comfort, affordability, and service for 6 years now!

"Edinburgh in the winter!"

Our stay was fantastic and our apartment was beautiful and comfortable. The

view on to the park each morning was perfect for starting the day, watching

students, runners and cyclists pass by. The location was well suited to our

friend working at Mercy Core, and each day we walked all over the city to enjoy

the castles and historic sites.

The food in Edinburgh was fantastic and as a vegetarian I was delighted with

the abundance of fabulous- meat free foods available at really good

restaurants. There is a market next to the apartment building which offers

wonderful and fresh foods,many daily newspapers, and also a coffee shop is

right there too.

Finally, the people in Edinburgh are lovely!

Beautiful apartment

Even better than the photograph suggests. A very comfortable apartment, always a joy to come home. A view we will treasure forever, especially watching the bunnies on the front lawn. Excellent backup. Astra and Avril were always reliable.

Deceived about condition of apartment; boiler malfunction started before our stay

The boiler failed every 1-2 days. Then there was no hot water or heat. Manager Avril arrived each time and got it going.On every visit we thought it was fixed until Sept 27 when she left a note and cash. The boiler problem had started before our stay and was awaiting parts so would not be fixed for us. If we had been told in advance we could have made other arrangements. The 60£ left as compensation was not adequate for several mornings of heating water on the stove to wash and shave and having a cold apartment at night.The broken boiler may have been beyond the ability of Avril and Astra to correct but we should have been told in time to change our plans.

Excellent location

Property is as described. Excellent location, It is within walking distance of the Royal Mile and most other city attractions. Coffee shops , bakeries and restaurants are only a short walk away with many within 1-2 minutes. If you are looking for a short term car rental there is an Enterprise club car rental spot right across the street.

Exceptional apartment in perfect location! Wouldn't change a thing.

We loved everything about this apartment in Edinburgh. It's very comfortable, is very convenient, has a wonderful view of the park and has many amenities. Perfect for 4 people. Very close to Royal Mile, park, excellent coffee place and grocery store. We walked everywhere. Will definitely recommend to friends and hope to come back in the future. Astra was a pleasure to work with and made everything very easy.

This apartment on the Quarter Mile was perfect in so many ways. It was clean, modern and well stocked with everything we needed. The location was excellent - walking distance to all of the places we wanted to see, close to the bus stops, grocery restaurants and Starbucks right out the front door, beautiful views of the The Meadows, quiet and we always felt safe (which was important for 2 women alone). The owner was very responsive and met us on our arrival to show us around and how everything worked. She even had fresh milk in the fridge, some shortbread and butter too.

We had a fantastic visit to Edinburgh - the weather was amazingly pleasant all week - and it was always so nice to return after our long days to this lovely apartment. So happy we found it!
