In 2017 this house was carefully refurbished maintaining the traditional charme of an Irish Cottages and offering the nowadays comfort of a cosy holiday home. Now it has also a sunroom with spectecular views across the country side and the sea in the distance. In the kitchen is fully equipped with all mod cons for preparing a good meal. The three bedrooms and the two bathrooms offer ample space for also for a family or a couple sharing. The owners run a salmon smokery nearby which means only a short walk for buying a nice evening meal for instance. Enjoy the marvellous views across Valentia Harbour and Dolus Bay, walk to the closeby Cooncrome Harbour at Dingle Bay with excellent fishing from the Pier or explore the many ancient sites of the Celts like Standing Stones, Ringforts or The ruins of Ballycarberry Castle. The lively market town of Cahersiveen with its supermarkets, shops, restaurants and many Irish Pubs is just three kilometers away.

Sehr schönes Haus
Das ausgewählte Haus (Serenity) war ein Traum. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Die Haus liegt sehr ruhig und war trotzdem gut erreichbar. Die Vermieter vor Ort waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Kurz, es hat alles super gepasst. Der Ansprechpartner in Deutschland war ebenfalls sehr hilfsbereit, gut zu erreichen und hat alle Versprechungen eingehalten.
tolles Haus in wunderschöner Landschaft
Dieses Haus ist wunderschön renoviert und bietet alles, was man für einen erholsamen Urlaub braucht. Auch die Küche ist top ausgestattet. Der Blick aus dem Wintergarten ist ein Traum. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub hier und haben viele Ausflüge und Wanderungen machen können. Cahershiveen bietet sehr gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Unsere Vermieter waren sehr hilfsbereit und immer zur Stelle wenn mal eine Frage aufkam oder wir einen Tip brauchten. Wir können dieses Haus weiter empfehlen!!!
Cahersiveen (also: Cahirciveen, Caherciveen, Cahirsiveen, Irish: Cathair Saidhbhín) is a place on the Iveragh peninsula in the south-west of the Republic of Ireland. It is located on the famous Ring of Kerry road and is one of the larger villages in County Kerry, with a population of 1,294 (2006).
Cahirsiveen (Irish: Cathair Saidhbhín, meaning "Little Sadhbh's stone ringfort") - alternate spellings Cahirsiveen, Cahirciveen or Caherciveen-is a town in County Kerry, Ireland. It is located on the River Fertha and is the main town of the Iveragh Peninsula. Cahersiveen is near Valentia Island and is connected to the Irish road network by the N70 road. It has a population of 1,294 (CSO 2006).
As said the town is situated on the slopes of Bentee. Royal Irish Constabulary, now a heritage center.
Mount Bentee. There is also a barracks of the former Royal Irish Constabulary (RIC). According to a legend, this building was erroneously built according to the plans for a British barracks in India. Today, the Barracks Heritage Center is located in the barracks.
Not far from the town are the large dunes of Cahergall (completely restored) and Leacanabuaile.
