Spectacular river views, close to the city, a quick walk to public transport and for those tennis fanatics - being 100M away from Brisbane's new international Tennis Centre is a great bonus.
THis is the apartment I intend to live in myself one day.
I love the area and the fact that I can get into the city in 10 minutes yet feel like I live in a beautiful resort in the country. I love watching the birds nesting in the big gum just off the verandah. Having coffee watching the rowers on the Brisbane River as the sun rises and enjoying the beautiful Australian sunsets with a glass wine in the afternoon.
Thankyou for our wonderful stay,the apartment suited our need beautifully. Spacious , very well equipped and in a great location. We were very impressed. We also reall appreciated the Davis cup tickets. the location to public transport and the lovely coffee shop wad an added advantage,

My family of four had the joy of staying for three weeks in Annette's fabulous riverside apartment. We unexpectedly needed a "home away from home" for a small period and that is exactly what we got. By the end of our stay, we had settled in to a lovely routine of sitting down to breakfast and admiring 'our' magnificent gumtree and beautiful Brisbane river view - a calming way to begin every day. The apartment truly exceeded our hopes and provided us with an unexpected, but much welcomed holiday. All our needs were met - we were able to cook as needed or access a variety of dining options, the undercover secure car parking (2 spaces) was magic, and the quiet, extremely large, and well appointed apartment offered all the domestic facilities and entertainment options to comfortably accommodate all of us (two university students with assignments and exams, and two working parents). The few times we encountered other residents we were warmly greeted and the on site facilities (pool and gym) were much appreciated by our very active 17yr old son. Thanks for being such a friendly and flexible host Annette, we loved our stay and will remember the experience fondly.
My family of 5 spent two weeks in this fabulous apt when we gathered in Brisbane for a family wedding. We could not have been more comfortably accommodated. The apartment is well laid out with three private bedrooms and plenty of space for my lot to get over jetlag and indulge in Mom's cooking. It was a bit hectic as we had wedding plans to finalize, but we were able to gather in the evenings and enjoy the calm of the apt, watching the river from the deck. We made the most of all the apartment had to offer: plenty of room for lounging, plenty of room to host overseas visitors for drinks, a fully equipped kitchen and easy access to transport to nearby Brisbane CBD. While is was sort of a "working" holiday for us, we all agreed that it was the best place we have found on VRBO. We were reluctant to leave, and that says it all. Thanks Annette
Fabulous property on the Brisbane River - 10 mins to train and city by car.
Apartment is extremely well equipped with everything you could need for a relaxing stay - books and dvd's included. Great pool and a cafe on the estate open for coffee, breakfast, lunch and dinner (recommend booking for dinner!

We loved everything about this apartment - the views were stunning; the layout of the apartment was superb with plenty of space, comfortable beds and lovely bedlinen and all very clean. The appliances were top of the range, and everything in the apartment was well cared for, which added to the enjoyment of this apartment.
Great location and a short train ride into Brisbane from the local station. Lots of nearby restaurants, shops and other amenities including the Queensland Tennis Centre.
Annette the owner was so helpful and had spent much time making this apartment a wonderful and entirely memorably place to stay. We would love to return.
We rented this apartment through VRBO for a one-week meeting in Brisbane. We had four in our work group (plus one spouse), coming in from three different countries. It was a busy week full of work and we needed a comfortable place to relax during downtime. It was essentially perfect. The apartment is kept in great shape and it is very clean. It has everything we needed such as towels, detergent in the laundry room, etc. The photos do not do it justice. It is actually considerably larger then it looked to me from the photos. I am more used to the opposite effect.
The kitchen was well supplied so we were able to cook four dinners -we had a gourmet cook in the group- and prepare all of our breakfasts as well. There are two great dining areas, the porch and an indoor dining area just off the kitchen. There is a comfortable living room area with a wide screen TV and cable.
It is well located. Several in our group were runners and there were multiple options including a good run in the direction away from downtown along the river and two treadmills in the small gym associated with the complex. We were able to get all around Brisbane using public transportation, starting from the train station that is located within a very short walk from the apartment.
My apartment has the best of both worlds if you are visiting Brisbane . It is where luxury meets nature. Only 10 minutes from the city and yet being able to enjoy the beautiful Australian landscape at your front door. The Austalian gum tree just off your balcony often has Kookaburras and Australian birdlife breeding in it! . You can shop and sight-see yet have the luxury of swimming pools, bbq Areas, tennis courts and a well appointed childrens playground at your front door.. Brisbane Gold course for the golf enthusiast is a 10 minute walk. There is also a Restaurant to pop down too to pick up that much needed early morning coffee. I hope to live here when day myself but invite you to enjoy my apartment while you are visiting Brisbane. Annette
