What an unusual rental property: This former mine blends harmoniously a dignified industrial coal past with a luxurious present as a holiday property. The transformation of this former mine was beautifully performed and shows still the old brickwork, the arches and the old beams next z. B. modern bathrooms.

A total of seven bedrooms and eight modern bathroom await you in a rural environment, together with three separate living rooms on each floor and a large kitchen. Two bedrooms are on the vault, so that guests can sleep in a semi-circular room with a honey-colored stone trough. The bedrooms are spread over four floors, each with a living room and an outdoor stairway that allow a high degree of independence for up to thirteen or fourteen guests.

There is plenty of space outside - terraces of more than 100 m2 - and the large pool is right outside the front of the building where there is also an outdoor kitchen and barbecue.

The mine is located on the outskirts of the village Bianamar and right on the edge of the foothills of the Tramuntana mountains. Pedestrian paths and bicycle paths lead directly from the village through ancient forests to the mountains. The village, however, is largely unaffected hosts one of the strangest and most fascinating festivals on the island in September: a frenzy of devils in the heavily ruined and roofless old church. Biniamar is within easy reach of Palma and the nearby larger town of Lloseta has also a train.

Fantastic villa, lovely pool and surroundings. First experience of Mallorca. Plan to return soon

First impression.....wow! All 8 of our mixed age party were really impressed by the villa. Fantastic converted mine. Bags of character plenty of space on different levels meant everyone had their own area to relax if they wanted. Kitchen was very well equipped and we enjoyed family cooking and entertaining. The boys loved the separate BBQ area! Wonderful dining areas inside and out but given the uninterrupted sun most of this was outside. All rooms had a bathroom and these were of a high standard. Whilst not close to the sea you could drive easily to many places. We made the most of this and found some fantastic beaches. We would definitely recommend Deia and Formentor. The beaches and sea there were amazing and the surrounding areas were postcard perfect. There were loads of opportunities for shopping, water sports, serious and not so serious walking all of which we would generally do but the villa was just so lovely we ended up doing less than we had planned and just enjoyed a very relaxing, stress free holiday. The nearest village of Selva was a pleasant walk of just over a mile which we did most days for either a coffee and pastry or the odd evening drink! We also met the owner who was very friendly and accommodating with respects to our departure time. Altogether a wonderful place to stay.
