The property Casa Abuela consists of a main house for 4 people and a small guest house for 2 additional 2 persons. Both are equipped with air conditioning. Both houses are rented to only one tenant at the same time. In the property is enough parking available. The minimum stay is 7 nights. Casa Abuela has a very quiet location with many olive and almond trees.

The villa is 15 minutes from the pretty white village of Sayalonga. It takes one hour to Malaga airport. The sea can be reached in 25 minutes from the house. The nearest Baviera golf course on the coast is 10 km away. The villa has spectacular views of the sea and the mountains.

Casa Abuela has 2 bedrooms with 2 beds and 2 bathrooms, a large living room in the main house. The kitchen is modern and well equipped in Scandinavian style.

There is also an additional guest house, Casa Olivia, for two people, equipped with tea-kitchen, bathroom, toilet and large bedroom with terrace and mountain views.

The main house has a covered porch, an outdoor kitchen and a barbecue. There are several seating and dining areas outside. Other seating and berths can be found around the pool and provide sunbathing. Throughout the property there is Wifi and Internet.

Suitable in all seasons, heating + fireplace for the cooler season are available.

Beautiful villa with amazing views. Well equipped and maintained.

Beautiful villa with amazing views out to sea. Loved the mix of traditional exterior with modern interior. Pool was excellent and a godsend in the 30 degree heat. Kitchen well equipped. WiFi was generally good. Sayalonga village is well worth a trip for lunch or early dinner in one of the 3 restaurents. Catarmaran trips available from Algarrobo Costa are worth the half hour journey back down the hill. The property was very well maintained although only 2 of the air conditioning units worked. Unfortunately if you do have a power cut, which we did on our last night, nothing works as the water supply relies entirely on electric pumps. A good 15 minutes drive outside the village of sayalonga up a difficult track ( do not attempt at night, sheer drops on one side ). Even during the day we found the property difficult to find as the map provided was very unclear. Luckily the pool guy was able to lead us on his motorbike. The property itself deserves a 5 star rating but we do feel however, the difficult access should have been mentioned in the property description.

Comfortable house with beautiful viewes

Ride from Sayalonga takes about 10 minutes on a bumpy roard so it is good to have a car with bigger wheels. But the view from the hill definitely compensated the ride. Inside the house there was everything we needed to enjoy our stay (particularly the fireplace was nice in the evenings). The garden gives a nice scenery if you want to stay outside (the weather started to be good enough in first days of April when we came). We have met very friendly people in Sayalonga so I recommend to go there for a dinner.

We didn't have a chance to meet the owner in person but he welcomed is with a bottle of wine and personal note on a table. Our overall impression is very good. Thank you Henrik.

Fantastiche locatie

Mooi huis op een geweldige plek. De woning is van alle gemakken voorzien. Heerlijk zwembad en onovertroffen uitzicht. Dat laatste heeft wel een prijs; de laatste kilometers naar de woning zijn smal en steil. Dat is even wennen. Contact met verhuurder was prettig en de informatie volledig..

Tolle Aussicht, schöne Einrichtung, absolut ruhig, zu empfehlen

Wir hatten das Ferienhaus zu viert gemietet, also genug Platz für alle.

Die Schlafzimmer sind gut eingerichtet, Betten okay, etwas kleine Kleiderschränke, letztlich braucht man ohnehin beim tollen Wetter in Andalusien weniger, als man dabei hat :).

Warme Kleidung für September haben wir bei Urlaubsende so gut wie ungenutzt wieder in den Koffer gepackt.

Bäder und Küche sehr schön und gut ausgestattet. Etwas mehr Geschirr wäre wünschenswert, aber so muss eben die Spülmaschine öfter ran. Es gibt einen guten Grill auf der Terrasse den wir mehrmals angeheizt haben.

Einkäufe am besten im Eroski Supermarkt Shopping Center in Velez-Malaga erledigen.

TV gibt es nur spanische und englische Sender, Internet mit WLAN ist vorhanden, und im Haupthaus und Poolbereich nutzbar. In der kleinen Dependance funktioniert das WLAN nicht.

Wir haben den TV nicht genutzt, deshalb mittels Tablett TV über Mediatheken geschaut.

Die Aussicht zum Meer ist gigantisch, bei klarer Sicht kann man sogar Marokko sehen. Das gesamte Grundstück, Poolbereich, Terrasse ist uneinsichtig, so dass man sich hier wirklich absolut ungestört und zwanglos bewegen kann.

Um dem Pool herum gibt es genügend Flächen um die 4 Liegestühle mit Polster zu platzieren, auch Schattenplätze unterm Vordach oder Sonnenschirm sind ausreichend vorhanden. Der Pool war die ganze Zeit perfekt sauber und von der Sonne angenehm gewärmt.

Schöne Strände ohne Bebauung (bei Nerja) sind in ca 30 - 40 Minuten erreichbar.

Der Kontakt zum Vermieter unkonventionell, einfach und es hat alles wie vereinbart geklappt. Wir hatten nicht mal einen Mietvertrag, vielleicht etwas ungewöhnlich, aber wir konnten alles per Mail mit Herrn Elberling klären und dann über das Fewo Portal gebucht.

Die Anreise erfolgte bei uns flugzeitbedingt bei Dunkelheit, aber auch hier war von Herr Elberling gut vorgesorgt und wir wurden zum Haus geleitet. Das ist nachts auch notwendig, die Strassen zum Haus sind schon etwas "unwegsam".

Vom Ort führt der Weg zum Haus über teilweise steile einspurige Beton und Schotterpisten, aber bei langsamer Fahrweise letztlich kein Problem.

Wir hatten als Mietwagen einen Polo und Tipo und auch damit ließen sich die Pisten fahren, ein SUV wäre ev. die bessere Fahrzeugkategorie.

Ohne Auto ist das Haus nicht zu mieten !!!

Insgesamt war es ein sehr schöner Urlaub in dem sehr gepflegten und absolut ruhig gelegenen Haus haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

The house is about 15 minutes from Sayalonga village. There are 3 different access roads that you can choose: 2. 9 km, 3. 5 km and 4. 5 km. Since the property is located in a natural landscape, the access roads are partially unpaved. After the conclusion of your rental contract, you will receive directions with the telephone number of a contact person, who will be happy to accompany you to the house the first time. If you arrive in the dark, the escort is essential to find the object. In case of a rental please inform me about your flight or arrival times, so that I can prepare the house and if necessary inform the escort person.
