Quiet house with stunning sea views in Malahide, Co. Dublin

The 2017 built, very high quality and modern house in the picturesque coastal village of Malahide in County Dublin can accommodate 2 to max. 6 persons and up to 2 cars (private parking spaces in front of the house). It is particularly suitable for families, making it possible to combine the advantages of a Dublin city trips with sports and / or beach holiday - without having to change accommodation. Please note, that with respect to the resident neighbours, loud noise on the street and on the terrace - especially during evenings and night - as well as parking on the neighbours´ car park and stepping on their grounds has to be avoided.

The house is situated on a hill in the exclusive and tranquil area Robswall located oceanfront. The center of Malahide, the regional train station (a 20 minute drive to Dublin City), 2 magnificent sandy beaches, a large park with sports facilities and children's playground u. V. M. are within walking distance. Malahide offers an excellent range of shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs, sports facilities (eg. B. Sailing, tennis, horse riding, gyms and 7 golf courses), with attractions including Malahide Castle. Various banks, hairdressers, service stations and doctors are also available. Several nights a week exciting live music in the pubs of Malahide commanded (Tip: Gibney's Pub Sundays from about 18 30 pm).

The 180 sqm large living space of the house consists of 2 levels (living and sleeping level).

Level 1 / ground floor: From the spacious entrance leads into the large living room with wide seat-sill and beautiful views of the Irish Sea and the island of Lambay Island. Cable TV (incl. Netflix), Internet access (WLAN) and music are available. 2 comfortable seating invite you to linger. Behind a large hinged door is the large, fully equipped open plan kitchen with a dining area for up to 6 people. The kitchen is glazed floor level to the garden (south side) and has access to the spacious terrace. It is also directly accessible from the hallway.

Next to the kitchen there is a utility room with sink, washer and dryer. A guest toilet is also available on the ground floor. The entire ground floor is accessible (if required there is very high air beds are set up).

Level 2 / floor: Via a finished carpeted staircase leads to the first Floor on which 4 (bed) rooms and 3 bathrooms .The large master bedroom with super king size bed (parquet floor) and shower-bath ensuite offers a wonderful view of the sea, Lambay Island and the coast. Next to the master bedroom there is a study with a sofa bed, which can be used as a bedroom for up to 1-2 persons (beautiful sea view). Overnight guests of this room can use the big family bath room (with tub / shower).

Upstairs there are 2 more bedrooms, one of which is an ensuite shower-bath with 2 single beds (parquet floor). The other bedroom offers a single bed and a sofa bed (1 person). The spacious family bathroom is next door.

All upstairs bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and blinds and have internet access.

In about 5 minutes walking distance from the house there is a bus stop with links eg to Malahide, Portmarnock, to the airport or into the city center of Dublin. Dublin Airport can be reached in only 15-20 minutes. The Howth Peninsula - famous for its harbor with many cozy fish restaurants, the island Ireland's Eye and scenically fascinating cliff (recommended walks!) - Is also only 15 minutes by car or by DART (local train) from Malahide reachable.

Please note:

No check in after 11 pm, quiet hours 11 pm - 9 am, no parking on neighbors´ property, no trespassing of neighbors´ property, no smoking, no parties. Host lives in n.o. 29, let property is no. 26 (as in description and picturres).

Kristin was very welcoming, friendly & accommodating. The rental was spacious & comfortable. Walking distance to the beach, the town of Malahyde, & the bus and/or train that took us into Dublin. Couldn’t be nicer🙂!

Excellent property in Malahide

It was an absolute pleasure to stay at this beautiful house. It accommodated all 7 of us comfortably and had extras which we really weren't expecting. Kirsten was the perfect host, checking we were ok and on hand should we need any help. We would definitely love to come back.

Modern, luxurious home near the sea and Dublin

This is a beautifully decorated, modern home with a beautiful view of the ocean, convenient to both downtown Dublin and several historic sights just north of Dublin. In fact, we traveled north to Belfast within 90 minutes or so. Kirsten surprised us with some basic groceries upon arrival, and was very easy to communicate with both before and during our stay. Beds were very comfortable, and bathrooms were especially modern and well functioning.

Bright, spacious, very clean house in 'Show House' condition. Kirsten is an excellent host.

We are three ladies who stayed in this new, bright, modern house and had a wonderful experience. Top hotel standard bathrooms and super kitchen. A car is an advantage but a bus to Malahide, Howth or Dublin is only a short walk away. The house is beside the coastal road for walks on the pathway or the beach. Excellent property and Kirsten is a lovely host who lives nearby and is available if needed. We definitely recommend this property.

Excellent location and an amazing property

Our family of 5 adults stayed at this very impressive property for 8 nights. The accommodation is absolutely top notch and has everything readily available to make your stay comfortable and memorable. We have rented many properties in Europe and North America and can honestly say this property is one of the very best we have stayed at. Kirsten could not have done more to make us welcome in her property. She was close by if we needed anything but was never intrusive.

Malahide is one of the best areas of Greater Dublin to locate if you are looking to combine the beauty and enjoyment of the seaside with all the amenities of Dublin City. The property is located within walking distance to the beautiful village of Malahide and the train (DART) station. The DART will get you into the city in 30 minutes. A taxi from the centre of Dublin is around 30 Euros if your evening extends beyond the last train to Malahide. We visited the nearby seaside village of Howth and enjoyed the spectacular cliff side trails and views from Howth Head.

We highly recommend this property as a vacation rental.
