We selected this particular location because of its Lake and Mountain Views and proximity to Recreational Access. The Beavehead/Deelodge National Forest and Anaconda/Pintlar Wilderness are literally right out your back door. The back of the property borders the Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest.
The back door literally opens up to it and many miles of hiking, snowmobiling, Mountain Biking and 4x4 trails. It is tucked up into the hills so on a windy day you can stay protected, while still feeling you're right at the lake. The cabin is custom built with many first-rate amenities. Enjoy evening campfires outside or cozy fires around the fireplace inside.
The cabin was custom built in 2006 with family comfort in mind. The floor plan was designed to keep everyone part of the conversation. The kitchen is separated from the living and dining area by a thick log bar top. The main bedrooms are tucked toward the back of the cabin for peace and quiet. Each bedroom has it's own door that opens up to the miles of forest behind the cabin. Enjoy the morning sun on the front deck and later savor the millions of stars you can see on clear nights.
Visit Philipsburg (less than 20 minutes away) for live theater, cool shops, Sapphire mining and of course the giant candy store!

Number One Top View Lane certainly lives up to it's name - what a View!! We noticed that the house is visible up on the hill from our boat on the lake. The "A-Frame" of the top floor and deck can just be seen, surrounded by gray-green conifers. It looks cool peeking out from the forest. So the view of the house from the lake is as good as the view of the lake from the house! Good Times!
Nice location and great view of the lake. We stayed for a week and the accommodations were acceptable. The cabin could have been cleaner, cob webs near light fixtures in the kitchen, dust and cob webs on the ceiling fan, rug in front of the sliding glass door had not been moved and cleaned under and the freezer in the refrigerator didn't work properly. Overall an acceptable place to stay but really could use a good cleaning
We had a great time visiting the local sites. Historic Philipsburg and Anaconda are close by. Fishing was great on the lake.
What a great place to stay while visiting Georgetown Lake. The cabin was super comfortable and well stocked in the kitchen. Plenty of towels and supplies. If we return to the lake, we will certainly stay here. Sean contacted me the day before arrival just to make sure we were all set and had any questions. We called him during our stay with a couple questions and he was extremely responsive. The place was clean when we arrived and had just about everything we needed. Only thing I would suggest is some comfortable chairs for the deck in addition to the picnic benches. We were traveling with two chairs but had four people staying there. Thanks so much Sean for sharing your home with us!
We planned our church women's retreat in Sean's cabin a couple weekends ago but were unable to make it up to the cabin and in fact, slid down the hill backwards when trying to make a very sharp corner at the top of one of a couple of hills. We contacted Sean and he was very gracious, his guy that plows had been up to check the road the day before but a storm had rolled thru that morning and made the road impassable without plowing. He tried contacting his regular guy and he was out of town so we were unable to get up to the cabin. Please be aware of weather conditions when renting this cabin. The hill leading up to this cabin is quite steep and at the end of it on the way down, there is a very sharp corner that will end you up in the field if you miss it! Also be aware that there is limited parking and that there are really only three bedrooms in this house. Two bedrooms with large beds and then one very large room with the rest of the beds so it doesn't leave much space for privacy so just be aware (me and two of our ladies walked up to the cabin when we couldn't drive up). Sean was great to work with, he refunded our money and I know things happen and sometimes they are beyond our control but please just be aware of possible weather conditions!
Beautiful setting and beautiful cabin. Only complaint-could not watch Monday Night Football to see the Seahawks, but guess it was a bad game so no great loss. Enjoyed Phillipsburg and driving the back roads.
This was our second time back. Sean's response time is exceptional! Highlights are the deck, fire pit and large kitchen/dining area. Beautiful views of the lake and mountains.
Thank you for having us back!
