Markus + Zivit Achermann are the hosts in the Haus Otium.

Already since 1967 we host, with a lot of passion, guest from all over the world in this unique home.

What used to have carefully started by the grandparents, we are leading it now already by the third generation.

Meanwhile, we count on a loyal clientele from around the globe.

The Otium house with the three different sizes 4 and 5 star holiday apartments Helianthus, Soldanella and the Garden Studio Ursula has become the pearl in the Bernese Oberland tourism and we would be very pleased if we could welcoming you once for a few days break out of everyday life.

The Thun Region is one of the largest and most versatile holiday regions of Switzerland. It is framed by the holiday region of the center of the historic old town of Thun, the picturesque holiday resorts on and above Lake Thun and some of the most magnificent viewpoints in Switzerland such as Niederhorn, Niesen and Stockhorn.

Accordingly, the panorama: To the west the view extends to the Franches Montagnes in the Jura, to the north you can see as far as the Black Forest and the East is dominated by the famous Alpine triumvirate: Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau mountains from where the entire mountain range with all the three thousand meters to the south expands!

That makes Lake Thun are to one of the oldest holiday regions of Switzerland: scenic beauty, boundless hiking and field trips, sporting facilities and cultural activities.

- Die Tourismustaxen von CHF 2.80 pro Erwachsene Person und Nacht und 2.7 %Mehrwertsteuer werden vor Ort verrechnet.
- Bei Zuwiderhandlung gegen den Mietvertrag kann der Vermieter /Schlüsselhalter den Vertrag frist- und entschädigungslos auflösen oder zusätzliche Kosten geltend machen.
