Private Guesthouse, 1 BR, 1 BA, Porch Swing, and Rose Garden
About Property Owner
My little Ranchita suits me just fine. It seems like I am out in the big wide open desert, but I am really in town, with all the big-city conveniences at my fingertips.

Why Property Owner chose Ranchitos Palos Verdes
A few years ago, I built the guest house for my dad, a true cowboy. He retired here with his horse, Dakota. Dad enjoyed the simple things in life. Now, I rent the bunkhouse to a few well-chosen guests, who seem to enjoy it as much as Dad did when he sat on the porch and fed sugar to Dakota.

The Ranchita has a lovely desert setting and our stay in the bunkhouse was enjoyable. The property owner was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed while still giving us our privacy. The bed is quite comfortable and there is plenty of room in the large walk-in closet. The Attractions Coupon Book provided by the owner was helpful in finding places to visit and things to do at reduced admission price. Overall a wonderful stay!
You guys were the most wonderful guests, and thank you for the great review. I really enjoyed getting to know you guys; you're good people.
Very quiet, picturesque, an oasis away from the noise and traffic of the city.
The owner lives on property and is very friendly and accommodating. The bunkhouse is away from the main house and you have total privacy. My husband and I have spent the last two winters in the bunkhouse and would definitely return.
Nice rural setting
Worked out well with having a dog. Everything you need is there. Oro Valley has a lot to offer in the area.
Thank you so much for nice review. I am happy the bunkhouse worked so well for you guys and that you enjoyed Oro Valley and Tucson.
Great place to stay in Tucson
This was our second time renting the Bunkhouse. The fact we've stayed there twice should say a lot about the property. It provides us with the options we need (laundry, dishwasher and Internet) and is alway clean. It's also a great size for those 6 week stays. It's on the northwest side of the city and close to the highway if you want to drive up to Phoenix, or down to the border. There are 100's of restaurants to pick from and lots of hiking nearby. Greer is great at making suggestions on what what to do, and if anything goes wrong with the Bunkhouse she fixes it quickly. Of the 3 rentals we stayed in, this is the best.
Thank you so much. I am glad to hear I'm the best.lol And, thank you for help getting me started with the SMART TV. My next visitors are really enjoying using their netflix.
You Don't Have to be a Cowboy to Enjoy the Bunkhouse
We stayed at the Bunkhouse during the month of January, 2018 and really enjoyed our time there. The location is good, close to Arthur Pack Park and the Crooked Tree golf course. Still a nice feeling of being away from it all on dead-end road. Apartment in the main house was available for our friends to visit us. Would love to stay here again. Greer is the greatest. Gary and Ann Nelms.
What a warm and wonderful review. I am so happy you enjoyed your time here. I would love to see you guys again too.
Wonderful Vacation Rental
We enjoyed the warm reception we received when checking into the ranchita. The ranchita is nicely decorated, clean, spacious and has everything that one could need. The ranchita is private, with a picturesque outdoor area perfect for relaxing and taking in the birds, bunnies and mountain views. Location is close to a number of hiking areas and downtown. By taking the highway we were downtown in around 20 minutes. Wi-fi is fast and consistent. The property owner Greer is warm and is available when needed, but considerate of personal space. All in all, a wonderful property with great attention to detail and would not hesitate to recommend!
Thank you for the glowing review. I am so pleased you enjoyed your stay and everything was to your liking.
