Farm with atmosphere, 2-8 persons, quiet location, large house, nice apartment

Welcome to our traditional Swedish farm, Dalhems Gard, part of which date to the 17th century. Here you will find Icelandic horses, dogs and cats. The farm is ideally situated within easy reach of a multitude of possibilities. Long sandy beaches are only 5 min away. The 'hills' of Glumslov offer hiking with spectacular views. Denmark is 30 min away and the Swedish island of Ven is a 45 min boat trip. There you can hire bicycles for a day trip. Try the local smoked fish, its a delicacy. The Danish town Copenhagen is only an hour away by car or train, where you can shop in an European capital with culture, excellent food, entertainment and exiting shopping. The much smaller beautiful town of Helsingborg is 25 km distant and offers a wide range of pottery and stoneware workshops. You can treat yourself with the spectacular coast views of Kullaberg and Hovs Hallar or wander through the nature trails of Söderåsen. Several international acknowledged art institutions are in close reach.

Icelandic riding: We can help you book Icelandic riding tours in the areas of Soderasen. Please book well in advance, the tours are rather popular.

Fishing: We're happy to help you book fishing boat trips on the sea. You can also fish in the protected nature area around Söderåsen, there is a fishing fee. Here you can make nice walks and stay overnight in outdoor sheds.

Art: On the farm you can hire the art studio and be creative. We can help you get started.

What makes this apartment unique

The atmosphere on our farm is exceptional, very calm and beautiful. The stress you might have brought with you will vanish and you will get aware of all the beautiful things that surround you. The horses, the cats in the sun shine, the singing birds, the large areas of fields, simply calmness.

Erholung pur

Die supersüße Ferienwohnung auf Susannes Skane-Hof hat alles, was man braucht - und liegt in einer total schönen und ruhigen Umgebung außerhalb von Glumslöv. Morgens schien die Sommersonne auf den Frühstückstisch, so dass wir bei weit geöffneten Fenstern dem Vogelgesang lauschen konnten, während wir unseren Kaffee schlürften.

in der Umgebung gibt es viele Ziele für Ausflüge für jeden Geschmack: die kleine Stadt Helsingborg mit ihrer gemütlichen Innenstadt in der Nähe des Hafens zum Beispiel. Sehr schön ist auch das Schloss Sofiero mit dem Rhododendron-Park (und dem Pflanzenverkauf, wo wir zuschlagen mussten). Die Halbinsel Kullaberg, die wir auf Empfehlung Sussanes besuchten, bot eine entspannte Wanderung über Stock und Stein vor dem Blau der Ostsee. Die Kühe, deren Weide wir durchqueren mussten, waren Wanderer gewöhnt und würdigren uns keines Blickes.

Malmö ist eine pulsierende, alte und doch jung wirkende Stadt, die zim Shoppen und Flanieren einlädt.

Kopenhagen, gleich drüben in Dänemark - mit dem Zug ruckzuck über die Öresundbrücke zu erreichen - ist sehr sympathisch und vereint altes mit modernem. Auch hier danke an Susanne für die Tipps! Die Hafenrundfahrt war toll und Tee und Scones superlecker!

In der näheren Umgebung von Dalhelms Garden schließlich kann man wunderbar fahrradfahren (wenn man mehr Glück hat mit dem Wetter als wir, denn ausgerechnet an diesem Tag war es bedeckt und sehr frisch). Das Tomatenshus um die Ecke bietet die sonderbarsten Tomatensorten und verschiedene Delikatessen an, die Keramikmanufaktur in Vallakra stellt wie anno dazumal alles mögliche aus Ton her. Wir haben bunte Kaffeebecher in unsere Fahrradkörbe laden müssen, nachdem wir den traditionellen Brennofen besichtigt haben. Sehr beeindruckend!

Wir haben uns supergut erholt und auf dem Hof sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir waren sicherlich nicht das letzte Mal dort und freuen uns schon auf einen weiteren Besuch im idylluschen Dalgelms Garden.

Campbell & Rosemary, Glasgow Scotland

Well equipped, clean, converted farm building. Adequate space and facilities for 2 people with a dog. Michael and Suzanne were most kind - it was an unexpected surprise to be greeted by a Fife accent after such a long journey. Ideally situated for our purposes, quiet with pleasant surroundings - two seaside resorts and many other destinations within reasonable walking distance. Shopping mall & supermarket a short drive. A visit to Elsinore Castle is recommended 'to be',and many other places worth a look at..I don't know if we were just lucky but we had wall-to-wall sunshine for a whole week

Dalhems Gard - Glumslov

Our family of 5 spent 2 weeks at Dalhems Gard (the main house), which we used as a base to explore Sweden and Denmark. The description of the property on the site is accurate - home is simple, clean and accommodating, and the grounds/garden mature and beautiful. The owners were extremely warm and hospitable. I would recommend this property to friends or family interested in a quiet, rural setting with good access to transportation. The train station in Glumslov is walking distance from the home and from there we could get trains to Malmo, connecting to Copenhagen and Stockholm, Oslo, etc. We found a rental car very handy, however, for grocery shopping (large stores about 5-10 minutes away by car). The home has very limited television access but we preferred this for our family experience in Sweden.

Erholung pur

Hier kann man wirklich einen tollen Urlaub verbringen. die Wohnung ist sauber und gepflegt. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit und schaffen eine familiäre Atmosphäre. Die Lage ist sehr gut. Einerseits gibt es in der Nähe schöne Natur und Strände zum Erholen, nicht zu vergessen den großen Garten direkt am Haus. Andererseits sind auch größere Städte gut zu erreichen, wenn man shoppen und bummeln will. Hierfür ist die gute Bahnanbindung sehr hilfreich, da kann man sich den Stress mit dem Auto ersparen. Genial für Hundeurlaub und zum Golfspielen. Wir wollen auf jeden Fall nochmal dorthin fahren!

Schöne Ferienwohnung

Tolle, gemütliche und gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung. Gemeinsam mit unserer Tochter (3 Monate) haben wir hier 7 Nächte übernachtet und uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Die Vermieterin Susanne ist sehr nett, gibt einem viele Tipps und ist total unkompliziert. Wir durften sogar ihre Waschmaschine benutzen (mit Baby ist das echt notwendig) was wir wirklich sehr zu schätzen wissen. Die Städte Landskrona und Helsingborg sind innerhalb weniger Minuten zu erreichen. Ausflüge nach Malmö, Kopenhagen oder Helsingör sind gut machbar. Größere Supermärkte sind schnell zu erreichen. Auch das kleine Fischerdorf Bostahusen ist nur wenige Minuten entfernt. Wir würden diese Wohnung wieder buchen. Vielen Dank für die nette Betreuung! Christine, Mario und Livia

Glumslöv is a small village with a lovely church, local shop and a pizzeria. The small picturesque fishing village Alabodarna is 3.5 km away with small houses, a small harbor, lovely flowers and small beaches. A little restaurant is situated directly at the waterfront (only outside eating) and offers romantic dinners in the sunset. You can still recognize the old fisher village. Our farm is quietly located at an over 100 years old gravel road. You will find in Glumslöv there are small hills for nice rural walks with the sea in the background. It also has its own public golf course, 18 + 9 holes. Within 5 minutes we have 2 more seaside golf courses, 2x28 holes and 18 holes with top quality standard. Glumslov has about 2500 inhabitants. The little train station has excellent connection to the rest of the surrounding area (Skane) and Denmark. A car is recommended though. In the next little village there are miles of white sandy beaches and there are nice biking roads along the sea.

Other Activities: Icelandic horse riding, but not at our farm, fishing tours at sea

Golf: 800m away there is a smaller public golf course. In the close reach of 5 minutes there is one 36 hole golf course and one 18-hole course. Both seaside. Very nice golf courses with high standards: Rya Golfcourse, Erikstorps (Landskrona) Golfcourse, Barsebäcks Golf and Countryclub; In 30 minutes reach there are at least 15 more golf courses. We are in the middle of Golfers Paradise!
