This amazingly silent first floor apartment faces the private courtyard of a typical Roman building and thanks to this, it is very, very quiet and safe.

Located just steps from the famous Campo dé Fiori farmers' and flowers' market, located just across from Navona Square. There are also some of the best restaurants and bars in Rome which will make it an excellent apartment for you and your family. Every morning you'll rise to Rome's best farmer's market and be walking distance from any sight you could wish to visit (Vatican 10 min, Roman Forum 15 min, Spanish Steps 15 min). This newly remodeled apartment is equipped with two glorious bedrooms (one with a European queen and the other with a European double) and en-suite bathrooms with showers, a living room with queen size sofa bed and dining table for 6. The elegant layered brick style ceiling that is visible through most of the apartment, is an added feature making for a memorable stay, while also giving the apartment a distinctly Roman touch. The open kitchenette allows you to showcase your excellent Italian cooking and make your vacation even more enjoyable. Every room has a large window and both bedrooms have a large wardrobe. All rooms have air-conditioning. Very safe and quiet location, as it is located in the beautiful courtyard of the historical building. Easy access, only 3-4 stairs to the front door.

All prices are in EUROS and quoted for 2 people. The Rome City Tax (3,50€ per person per day) is paid separately from the costs of your stay and is not included in the listed reservation total. The city tax can be paid with the balance. Prices include air-conditioning, heating, gas, electricity, water, & WiFi Internet. Household supplies include one shower towel and one hand towel and bed linens. The damage deposit, in the unlikely event of damages or incidentals, will be by credit card authorization signed at check-in. Complimentary check-in is between 15:00 and 20:00 but we will try our best to accommodate earlier and later arrivals so you should connect with my local team as soon as possible with your arrival and departure details. Check-out is no later than 10:00 on the day of departure. If you need luggage storage after check-out my management team can assist you with recommendations.

I am Italian, born in Tuscany - Siena. I have lived in Rome and London. I purchased the apartment in Rome in 2000 and I have fully refurbished it twice (in 2000 and 2006). In the last few years I have made several updates including new furniture, air-conditioning units, new dryer, and so much more! I like investing in my property to make it more comfortable for my guests. I lived there for 3 years beginning in 2002 and loved every single day being able to walk everywhere and to sightseeing the beautiful Rome - which I consider an open-air museum.

Currently, I live and work in the U.S. - with my husband Stefano, who is also Italian.

Why Giusy chose Rome

I have always loved Campo dei Fiori in Rome. It is a beautiful square, where cars are not allowed. It has hosted a farmers' market every day since 1490! It is an open air museum, where you can sit and enjoy a glass of wine, coffee..for hours and hours...and just steps from the Vatican, the Colosseum, the Forum, Navona Square...I never needed to use a car while I lived in my Rome apartment.

What makes this apartment unique

I chose this loction because it is a quiet spot. Via dei Cappellari is a pedestrian street. The apartment is located in a private building with a court-yard which is a very beautiful setting. Thus it is quiet, secure, and private...yet steps from the most lively sights in Rome

Fantastic location just off the Campo dei Fieri

The apartment is as pictured. Very clean. You enter a courtyard through a locked gate, so it feels very secure. Lots of spots in the square to grab coffee or a meal, and open air shopping. If you spot something you like wait until closing and you might pay less. Easy check in. My only complaint is that a few hooks throughout and a shelf in the shower would go a long way in making for a more pleasant stay in the apartment. Also, there are 2-3 steps down to second bedroom in case steps are an issue. Overall a lovely spot. The location off Campo dei Fieri is very convenient. There is a taxi stand just off the square, and a place to store bags nearby. The young man who checked us in was very helpful.

Quiet, convenient apartment off Campo dei Fiori

We recently spent four nights in this quiet, secure apartment just steps away from Campo dei Fiori. The location was perfect for exploring Rome and enjoying the atmosphere. The apartment was exactly as pictured and we took advantage of the washer and dryer midway through our 19-day trip.

I wouldn't want to cook anything more than toast and coffee in the kitchen but why would you when so many restaurants and pastry shops are nearby. My only gripe is that the lighting is dim.

The apartment can be hard to find. In the Campo, locate La Carbonara and the Forno bakery. With the Forno on your right go down Via dei Cappellari and find number 13 on your left. If you're taking a taxi have the driver drop you off near La Carbonara. Via dei Cappellari is a pedestrian way (mostly).

Wonderful Stay

Our family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers really enjoyed this apartment. We especially loved the location. Just steps from our front door there was a daily market which was fun to see and enjoy. We walked to the Colosseum, the Pantheon, and the Vatican. The apartment was comfortable and generally quiet. There was no street noise as the apartment was located in a courtyard off a pedestrian way. The only drawback was that our upstairs neighbor was occasionally loud.

Perfect location

A very comfortable flat in a tranquil courtyard right next to a bustling market square within walking distance of all the main attractions. The check in arrangements were very helpful and getting the transport from the airport made for a relaxing start to the holiday.

Fun and safe location in Rome

Our stay in Rome at your apartment in the middle of October was awesome. It seems I have been timed out of reviewing it on VRBO. So sorry, I didn't know there was a time limit. If there is a way that I can circumvent that time limit, I will be happy to write a very favorable review. Certainly 5 out of 5 starts; perfect location - 5-20 minute walk to most of the major sites, adjacent to the Campo di Fiori square, which offers restaurants and markets, and very safe!; the apartment was clean and well-appointed; transportation from the airport and delivery of the keys worked well even with our significant flight delay. I would definitely stay at this apartment if I am lucky enough to visit Rome again, and I will certainly recommend it to my friends.

Loved the Location!

We were first-time visitors to Rome, and could not have been happier with this rental! The apartment itself has two bedrooms, each with it's own attached bathroom, which was perfect for two couples. It has a nice sitting room, with kitchen facilities and dining area. It also has a washer and dryer and air conditioning. The apartment is off a narrow street in a secure and quiet courtyard. The street is directly off the Campo dei Fiori, a flower, produce, and tourist marketplace during the day, and a lively square lined with restaurants at night. It was wonderful, after a full day on our feet sightseeing, to relax in the square and enjoy a drink or a meal and watch the goings-on for a while. The management was very willing to help arrange transportation, tours, or anything else needed during our stay. We would definitely stay there again, and highly recommend this rental!

Best location in Rome: Walking distance to any of the main attractions, restaurants, bars, shopping. Most central location in Rome! Yet very quiet location. I bought the apartment because I could sleep so well in the private courtyard off Campo dei Fiori.

Like many streets in the area, Via dei Cappellari gets its name from the profession of a number of its inhabitants, in this case the “hat-makers.” The palace where the apartment is located (Number 13) was owned by The Tebaldeschi family who owned various palazzi in the street and whose coat of arms, a rose, can still be seen on the Via dei Cappellari no. 13. The area is full of Rom's rich culture and history, too! For example, the building opposite my building, the one with the loggia and tower, was once owned by the Tebaldeschi Family - a well known Roman family. In addition, the Italian poet Pietro Trapassi, aka Metastasio, was born in the flat just under the arch in via dei Cappellari (no. 29) just down the street. There is a plaque which marks this historical fact.
