The village of Barolo is well worth a visit (25km away), as is Dogliani (25km) and Alba (38km), which is also konwn as the capital of white truffles. The enchanting town of Monforte is roughly 23km away. The area is popular with hikers and bikers - especially the bar to bar route which follows a 124km trails from Barbaresco to Barolo. It is a wonderful way to explore the history, culture and sample the local cuisine on route!
