|Minimum Stay||6 nights|
This villa is surrounded by the caribbean sea and it's grounds slope down to the ocean. Five bedrooms, each with their own bathrooms. In total Fushi sleeps 10 people in comfort but can accommodate an extra two or three children. There is a TV room, outdoor space for dinning along with a BBQ and infinity pool. The views are stunning and all our guests comment that they could spend the whole holiday just looking from the infinity pool out to sea.
The house is great for families or groups as there is a large central living space which leads to the outside area. Along with a separate TV room with WiFi enabled TV with many great stations.
The outside dinning area has a sea breeze, while the outdoor seating area has sofas and tables in a shaded area. There are sun loungers next to the pool and a raised stand at the end of the garden to take full advantage of the breeze and the sea views. Upstairs their are balconies which look out to sea and back towards the mountains and hills of the internal part of the island.
The staffing includes maid, villa manager and occasional chef available as an optional extra.
At extra costs we can even provide a chauffer service can be provided for those who want to relax, also there is the option of an onsite massage and beauty treatments.
Our chef can cook lunch or evening meals for you at an extra cost, providing in villa dinning. Favourites include the lobster BBQ or a local banquet.
Fushi Villa along with the staff are aiming to provide all we can to make your stay comfortable, enjoyable and fun.
We are a short drive to many of the favourite bars and restaurants in the central area of Grenada. There are great beachside restaurants - The Beach House, Aquarium, Coconut Beach, along with other favourites the Prickly Bay Restaurant and Bar which is a two minute drive from the Villa.
There is a small local shop at Prickly Bay and then a larger supermarket five minutes drive. A local stall holder sells fresh fruit, veg and coconut water.
There is plenty to do with the Underwater Statues, Inner Tubing down the lake, boogy boarding, scuba diving, sailing, tennis lessons, sea safari, whale and dolphin watching or just relaxing on the beautiful beaches.
We are at the moment just updating the villa and some of the photos are of the old furniture.
We booked this property as our wedding/honeymoon destination after seeing it online. Even with the amazing photos, you don't get the full experience unless you are standing there staring out into the ocean. The views are unreal. Our photographer, who has been doing weddings in Grenada for several years described Fushi Villa as the most beautiful venue he's ever shot in. I really can't explain how amazing staying here was, from working with Catherine prior to getting to Grenada, to working with her property manager and her grounds keeper (who also doubles as an amazing Caribbean chef, he did 2 large meals for us). Everything was literally perfect. If you are on the fence about booking here, be assured you WILL NOT regret it.
Thanks Catherine for allowing us to spend our trip here. You have no idea what this meant for us. Thanks again.
What a wonderful home to spend a week in. I was impressed from my very first contact with the owner Catherine, which continued through our entire week. Everything was as we were told. We were greeted at the airport by the property manager Fiona, taxied to the home which was about a 10 min drive and had a rental car brought to the house as we requested. If there was a problem, I emailed Fiona and it was addressed immediately. This house has a wonderful set up for a family or multiple families. A big bonus was that each bedroom had it's own bathroom and we appreciated having a washer/dryer which helped us to pack lightly. Our favorite aspect of the house was keeping the sliding glass doors open the entire day, making it feel like we were outdoors even when we needed to get out of the sun and sit inside. At night we kept the lights inside off and the lights outside on to keep the bugs from flying inside and closed all the back doors before bed. We cooked in the house a few nights. If you like beer, try the West Indies Brew Company just down the way. We were disappointed to learn that a few of the restaurants had a dress code (no shorts or flip flops and men needed dress shoes). Our favorite restaurant was The Cave. It had a very cool atmosphere and the best meal all week. They too had a dress code but we decided to show up and take the chance. We got lucky (we were dressed very nice, girls wore sundresses and men shorts and button up shirts, both with flip flops). We had a fantastic week and if we were planning another trip to Grenada, we would not hesitate staying at Fushi Villa again.
The photos on the website dont do this Villa (mansion!!) justice!! Set on the end of a peninsula with 180% degree views over the sea and enjoying a refreshing sea breeze; the house more than met our expectations!! The 40ft infinity pool allowed for proper swimming and the outside patio area was big enough for 3 families to easily find peace and quiet; never felt crowded. The house itself feels very modern and clean and has a huge central atrium hung with giant chandeliers. The kitchen and lounge have bifold doors which allow the whole house to open up to the outside creating a fantastic indoor /outdoor living area.
All 5 bedrooms are large with beautiful ensuite bathrooms and aircon; 3 with large terraces overlooking the sea. the house is situated in the most up market area of St George and allows for easy access (5 mins) to all the local beaches and restaurants. Anne, the daily maid, was very thorough and friendly and John (the handyman/chef) prepared some great lobster meals for us!!! the big difference compared to other Caribbean islands for us was how safe we felt and how friendly the people were!! We will definately be visiting again!!
This is a brilliant villa benefiting from fantastic views; overlooking the Caribbean Sea.
The owners were very helpful in the lead up to our stay by making recommendations of things to do, places to eat and where best to hire a car from. The owners representative on the island was always on hand to answer questions and ensure that the house was in ready for arrival.
The villa is located 5-10 minutes drive from the airport and 15 minutes to St Georges, Grenada's capital. The house is very well equipped with TV, internet, hifi, etc. Each bedroom is spacious with comfy beds. The pool is stunning with a great area outside to relax in the sun. The entire property has been thoughtfully furnished throughout.
Overall I couldn't think of anything negative to say about this villa. A truly remarkable property which makes for a brilliant holiday.
we have now satyed here 3 times with friends and family and i just cant wait to go back again. The Villa is well equipped and has everthing you need for a perfect holiday. the pool and outside areas are fantastic. all 5 double bedrooms have en suite and air conditioning. the property was very clean and well maintained.
the owners and their representative locally were very friendly and helpful.
there are brilliant beaches and restaurants to visit. in particular you must visit the Aquarium restaurant.
