The villa is one of the few beach front villas at Palmas del Mar Resort. It is located in a private complex called Beach Village whose main attraction is the beach. Not only can you see it from the comfort of your villa, but you can also walk around as you discover places of interest such as restaurants, golf courses, casino, marina, equestrian center, the largest tennis complex in the Caribbean, and a private complex pool. You can also enjoy the beautiful sunrises from anywhere in the villa, including the bedroom. Typically, the environment around the villa is very peaceful and quiet.
It is the perfect place for a romantic escape!
Private Beach: Enjoy the beauty of the ocean while relaxing in the comfort of your Villa.
Renting a golf cart is encouraged since Palmas del Mar is an enclosed area with golf cart trails which makes everything very accessible and fun! If interested, we can assist you with the golf cart rental.
At Night: At night, you may want to sit outside in front of the ocean while feeling the wind and listening to the sound of the waves as you enjoy a glass of wine or champagne.
Discover the exquisite restaurants inside Palmas del Mar.
You may also want to try your luck at the casino located in the Four Seasons Hotel (walking distance).
Comment entered by guest in homeaway website: This was our first trip to Puerto Rico and since we only had 4 nights, we debated re: staying directly in Old San Juan or more off the beaten path. I'm SO glad we chose this place!! Just as the other reviewers have said, the condo is immaculate, well stocked and very comfortable; the resort grounds safe and beautifully maintained. Loved listening to the waves and the coquis every night, so relaxing. Although we could've easily spent our whole time lounging on the balcony or walking our secluded beach (and LOVING it!!), we ventured out to enjoy the friendly Puerto Rican people, explore El Yunque (the rangers there do an excellent walking tour!), to wander around El Morro and Old San Juan, to tour the Bacardi distillery, to kayak through the mangroves to the bioluminescent lagoon, to experience Luquillo and its kiosckos, to enjoy a wonderful dinner in a little restaurant in Punta Santiago (Pescao & Salsa) and from the panaderia de la familia, bring back delicious pastries for breakfast on our balcony. On the weekend, there are delicious chicken pinchos there, too!! We're not golfers but the golf course here looked pretty...would've loved to have seen the iguanas sunning themselves on the fairways. We got lost a few times, but even that was fun. Everything here was perfect.....our only complaint was our time was too short!!
We stayed here 7 nights in early January. Place was great. Loved being able to open the windows into large sitting area and have ocean breezes blow in. Unobstructed views entirely. Having coffee/cocktails on the off bedroom deck was perfect. A/C unit farily noisy, located adjacent to separate sleeping area with pull out sleeper -- probably would impede sleep if that space was used by another guest(s). We discovered some beach chairs in closet so very nice! The TV located in sitting area was out for service during our stay, would have enjoyed being able to watch but c'est la vie.. We stopped for kitchen supply stocking at the Walmart in Humacao shortly after arriving. Ate in all our meals. Location very secure. Early January must be a quiet time as we rarely saw others on the beach. Perfect location for enjoying ocean breezes, views, privacy.
This was a great vacation for me and my wife. The original villa we were supposed to stay in had an HVAC issue and Ana contacted me to let us know that she was moving us to a different villa. This was very nice of her to do and definitely made our vacation more enjoyable.
The villa was just like a home away from home. It was clean and having a kitchen was a plus because we decided to stay in for dinner one night. We loved sitting on the balcony and watching the waves on the beach. And having direct access to the beach was absolutely AMAZING!
Palmas del Mar is beautiful. It's quite a distance from other locations, but that was something we didn't mind, since we had a rental car and we love driving and exploring areas that aren't typically inundated by tourists. We drove to San Juan one day; to Guavate for their lechoneras on another day, and drove up to Fajardo on another day.
We are already making plans to come back for another trip and hope to stay at Palmas del Mar again.
Thank you for a great experience, Ana!!
Property is in good shape. Easy access. The pool was close by. Plenty of parking.
Please make sure you visit "La Pescaderia" for the freshest lobster and fish you can ever imagine. You are 5 minute walk from the "Beach Bohio" (it's a bar and grill shack on the beach)excellent food and service.
Thank you Ana, for a wonderful stay. Couldn't have been better.
Definetly will come back and stay again.
This is our second time on these villas. Great room accomodations and service. All included. We enjoyed our stay, the oceans breeze and wonderful escape of Palmas.
We were there for 7 days. We really enjoyed our selves. The place was amazing. They have a bar and a place to eat just down the beach. I could not believe how clean everything was. The casino is just around the corner. Also has a breakfast place right outside the casino. Just remember if you leave the villas make sure you have a gps so you don't get lost. ( My husband and myself are very bad at directions). Thank you so much for a wonderful time Ana. Eduardo and dian
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at Ana's beachfront property. It was clean and comfortable, and the view couldn't be beat. The ocean is a bit rough in this area, being on the Atlantic, but if you venture down the cove to the left of the unit, it is calmer and better for swimming. The pool was quite close by and was also very nice.
The Palmas del Mar area is very quiet and great for families or if you want a vacation away from the hustle of San Juan. It is easy to get to El Yunque and the ferry at Fajardo from this location, as well as travel to the southern part of the island for its quiet beaches.
We had no issues at all with this unit. We have rented condos many times through Home Away and VRBO and some have been more fully equipped than this unit, with things like a gas grill, more cooking supplies, a cooler, etc. Not having these things did not detract at all from our stay as we were out every day on excursions.
I would rent from Ana again and would definitely recommend it to friends and family.
