Palmetto Beach Rental will not be opening to VRBO reservations for the 2018 Summer Season. However, there is some availability in July and August for weekly bookings only (Monday to Sunday).
Built in 2004, on the site of our family-owned summer “Cottage,” formerly known as Palmetto Lodge (1932-65), Palmetto Beach Rental is now being offered to other families to enjoy for their vacations on this beloved, 3-acre beachfront property. There is a creek on the west side.
The 1700 sq ft apartment is in the walkout lower level of this home with the upper level occupied by the owners. As shown in the photos, spectacular views of Lake Erie accompany the many sliding glass doors & windows in the apartment.
The “Garden Bedroom” with 2 double beds, has sliding glass doors opening on to a covered patio.
The King-bed “Lake Room” has a large window & sliding glass doors opening onto a covered patio.
The two “Bunk Rooms” each have 3 twin beds.
500 feet of Lakefront including 300 feet of an extensive sandy beach, on Lake Erie is unique to this area. The privacy created by the enclosing vegetation offers seclusion for your family's exclusive use. Escape the day-to-day routine of the world, and come to rest & renew by being so close to God’s magnificent creation. Endless opportunities to play together are afforded as noted in the numerous amenities & activities, along with plenty of space to be alone for life’s much needed quiet time. Partake of the unique beach / Lake ambience; savor glorious sunsets as generations of families before have done from anywhere on the property: the white antique iron bench, the extensive 12’ x 80’ deck, a small beach fire while swimming; AND gathering to sing “Day is Done” -- a “Cottage Blessing.”
