Located in the heart of the medieval Moorish and Jewish neighborhood of Alfama, the apartment has a stunning water view over the Tagus estuary. Within walking distance from many of Lisbon's leading museums and monuments, the apartment is in close proximity to local grocers and supermarkets as well as neighbourhood restaurants, cafes, bars as well as eclectic shops of every kind.

The apartment is in an 18th century building nestled into a steep slope of one of Lisbon’s hills, 100 metres above sea level. So while its main, and private, entrance is on the ground-floor, you can enjoy the stunning river view from the second floor balconies on the other side of the apartment, without having to climb any stairs.

The building is facing south, the apartment is sunny and bright all day long. You can sit in the living room and admire Lisbon’s beauty while overlooking red-tiled rooftops that are set against the blue water of the Tagus river.

The apartment is in close proximity to all types of public transportation: tram, bus and subway.

I am an illustrator and a Lisbon native. I live in Mouraria, very close to the neighbourhood of Alfama. I know Alfama like the lines in the palm of my hand, I love its narrow streets, red rooftops and white-washed houses with their balconies full of flowers. I enjoy sharing my love for this picturesque medieval neighbourhood and I look forward to welcoming you to Lisbon.

October in Lisbon

We (3 persons) had at the end of October 2017 rented Casa d'Alfama for 4 days. A very charming apartment - perfect for 3-4 persons.

The apartment is located in a very atmospheric and lively neighborhood. It was hot, the days we were there, and with the balcony doors open most of the time we enjoyed the sound of the surrounding Fado resturants and the view of the Tajo and the harbor.

Also great praise for Cristina, our hostess. She was extremely helpful and gave us many great tips on, where we found the good experiences in Lisbon / Hanne Hansen

Appartement chaleureux avec une vue splendide

Cet appartement est très lumineux, calme et bien équipé.Il correspond parfaitement aux photos de l'annonce.La vue sur le TAGE et sur les toits de l'ALFAMA, est splendide, de jour comme de nuit.

Il est très bien situé au coeur des ruelles du quartier historique. Le fameux Tram 28 est tout proche; il y a de nombreux petits restaurants à proximité.La propriétaire a gentiment cherché une solution pour nos bagages pour nous permettre de profiter au maximum de notre dernière journée de vacances.

Nous conseillerons cet appartement à nos amis et reviendrons avec plaisir.

Really nice apartment excellent location

The Alfama neighborhood is so unique and this apartment is right in the heart of it. Fado clubs around every corner and the 28 tram just up the steps. We will always cherish our time here. Cristina was so friendly and helpful too. Highly recommended!
