z. B .: 2 nights from 91.- € (see prices under "Check availability") The 5 double rooms in our bungalow made of straw bales at the Wangeliner garden give the visitor a special feeling of living through the vault-like interior design. Each room has a separate entrance from the outside and is equipped with its own bathroom (shower and toilet). The building was built in 2012 in load-bearing straw bale construction according to plans by Prof. Dr.Ing. Gernot Minke - university teacher, successful book author in clay and straw bale construction and world-renowned architect in experimental construction - built. It is the first building of its kind in Germany. The 40 cm thick plastered with clay straw bales allow a very high insulation standard, so that the heating energy consumption is very low. For some years now, the building material loam has been experiencing a renaissance in Germany - above all because of the knowledge about a special, healthy indoor climate that can be created through its use. This is achieved here by the combination of clay-plastered walls, the use of clay bricks and a rammed earth floor. Each room is uniquely designed in its color scheme - warm, harmonious natural tones give the rooms an almost Mediterranean atmosphere. The shower rooms are plastered with a traditional Moroccan marble lime, tadelakt, which gives them a classy feel that you can literally feel. Tadelakt plaster surfaces are fascinating because of their color and surface structure - the shimmering, slightly wavy and lively surfaces exert a great attraction. The holiday rooms are equipped with bed linen and towels. A possibly required baby bed can be made available by us (once 5, - € + 6, - € bed). A 2. Extra bed is possible after arrangement. For reasons of space, this is not recommended by us. For extra beds we charge bed linen with 7,00 € and hand towels with 5,00 € / person. The holiday rooms are located in the immediate vicinity of the Wangeliner garden, largest herb garden of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. As our guests, you have the opportunity to use the Wangeliner garden at any time for only one entry. For self-sufficiency, a simply equipped summer kitchen will be available on the grounds of the Wangeliner Garten from May. As it can get very dark here in the country, a flashlight is often of use. If booking for the same day, a phone call is required to ensure that a colleague is on site. Pets are not allowed.
