Charming home with a great screen porch!

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay in this charming home! The screen porch is a great place to relax after a day at the beach. In the morning, we used the beach cruiser bikes to ride along the boardwalk and the nearby lakes. There is a public playground at the end of Norfolk Street. With our five and six-year-old children, this location was an enjoyable, quick walk to the beach, boardwalk, amazing restaurants, arcade, ice cream and pizza parlors, and Funland. This cozy home is decorated well with special attention paid to items such as a unique collection of glasses and plates, as well as books placed on the shelves in the kids' rooms. We didn't have a need to contact the owner during our stay, but it was very easy to get in touch with him prior to our arrival.

3 generations living salt air life in historic cottage

  • 5 of 5

The cottage was charming! I'm not sure if we spent more time on the beach & boardwalk or the wraparound porch! The youngest grandchild loved the claw foot tub.

Colby was very responsive when I called with questions.

We'd love to go back.....

Great location, house could use some TLC

  • 4 of 5

We came to Rehoboth for a family beach trip, 7 of us in total. Colby was very helpful with the pre-trip arrangements. The house's central AC died a few days before we were to arrive. Colby had installed portable AC units and fans which worked well until they could get in there to replace the unit. The upstairs bedrooms get very warm though and even with central AC it was very hot. Also, the stairs are very steep and narrow. The house was great proximity to the beach and shopping/restaurants. Nice to be able to use the bikes but a few were in bad shape. Furnishings, appliances and things were a bit shabby. We enjoyed the week overall but the house could use a little TLC.

Third time is still a charm

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time. The owner was very responsive to our calls (not one of us remembered to bring the code to unlock the key box). Still would prefer to come in September, but with my older grandson entering 1st grade this year, that is no longer possible.

House wasn't clean to my expectations, especially front porch and the backyard. Still was lovely.

Great Location and Charming House

  • 5 of 5

One of the best things about this house is the wrap around porch, we just loved the porch! The backyard was great and quiet! We had 8 people and there are 2 bathrooms but only one the bathrooms has a shower and the other one has a very pretty claw-foot tub. There is an outside shower as well. The location of this house to the beach was great! House was a bit dusty and smelt like no one had been in a while. The AC worked great! Great house! Colby, the owner was also very attentive in responding when we had a small issue. Thank you!
