Historical cottage located only two blocks from the beach. One of the original Rehoboth cottages that dates back to 1927, and is on the historical registry. Fantastic location, two blocks from the beach and silver lake, also an easy walk to town. Our cozy living room has a wood burning fireplace, and a HD flat screen tv. Beautiful and relaxing screen porch with plenty of seating. Charming backyard area that includes a patio and grill, made private by a fence. Plenty of bikes available to ride around town. Four bedrooms and two full baths with an outdoor shower.
Renters will need to bring sheets and towels. There are two queen beds and four twin beds.
Really enjoyed our stay. Perfect location just blocks from the beach and also blocks from downtown with all the great places to eat. Lovely cottage.
The cottage was very welcoming and cozy! We loved the screened-in front porch & spent most of our time at "home" out there. The property itself is quite shady, but the Air Conditioning was perfection, when we needed relief from the humidity. We enjoyed using the backyard grill (propane or charcoal), and visiting Claws Seafood for dinner. This place is on the southern end of Rehoboth, which made it very convenient for us to get to Dewey, where our dog was welcome on the beach all day! The bicycles were such an added bonus! We rode them all over town...just remember to bring your own bicycle locks and helmets. Colby was wonderful with communication...answering my numerous questions very, very quickly! A great stay!
This is our 2nd year at this property. I would so love to rent it next year at the same time because Rehoboth is much quieter after Labor Day. My older grandson will be in 1st grade, though. I might just have to rent it in August. Loved the bikes. They all seem to be in good working order and was able to get out every morning before 10 to ride one on the boardwalk. Never drove the car, just used them to get to groceries, etc. We spent most of our time there on the porch which is comfortable and can squeeze 8 at the table for dinners.
Charming, historic cottage in great location! Walk to beach, lake and town. Great wraparound screened porch and cute back pack patio. Weather didn't cooperate, but enjoyed the house! Owner is accommodating.
The cottage was perfect for the 3 kids and 4 adults that stayed. The location and community was great for biking and having a local playground was also really helpful. The house was only a brief walk to the main attractions on the boardwalk. The house was clean and had everything that we needed, including great parking. I would absolutely rent again!
We had always wanted to spend the Thanksgiving holiday at the beach, and the cottage at 202 Norfolk St., in Rehoboth made it a great success.
As always, we found it warm and comfortable, with everything we could possibly need. More than that, the wonderful owner welcomed us with a beautiful flower arrangement and box of chocolate.
Our long weekend also coincided with an unseasonably warm stretch of weather that allowed for morning runs and walks on the beach. It was like being transported to Southern Calif for the weekend.
What more could you ask for?
Many, many thanks.
