The mountains of Western North Carolina, near Asheville, are one of most beautiful and relaxing places in the world, if you exclude pulling weeds.
The views from the 50+ acre property and lake are wonderful. The birds, horses, goats and other animals are a joy to behold.
We had a great time on the farm. Plenty of places to roam. Had a great time hanging out with the goats and visiting the Amish store. You must try the sticky buns. Asheville is a quick 15 minutes away. We will be back.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Moore's Creek Farm. My husband and I needed a getaway to celebrate our anniversary and found this to be the answer. It was off the beaten path; however, very convenient to Biltmore Estates, Downtown Asheville, Grove Park Inn & local attractions. Sarah and Chuck provided a warm, cozy environment for us, including fresh eggs upon our arrival. They were delicious paired with Troyer's sourdough bread and butter our first morning. (Troyer's Amish Store-neighboring property & a short walk-was a treat!) We left with lots of baked goods, deli and dairy items to enjoy at home AND wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you for a memorable trip!
Great rental! Very relaxing and comfortable unit. The hiking trails up the mountain directly behind the unit were amazing. Thanks Chuck and Sarah, we will definitely be renting from you again. Les and Nancy Waters
Just what I needed to relax and regenerate. The house is well-kept and clean, has all the amenities you need. Just a short drive into Asheville, but plenty of restaurants and shops in the immediate area. I was able to bring my 4-legged companion; she loved walking the trails and around the property! Most of all, I enjoyed watching the sun come up over the mountains and lake while drinking my morning coffee, right from the living room - beautiful view!
Our stay was very nice. The house was very cozy and clean. The 4 of us ladies went to Asheville so we could go to the Biltmore House. The house is very conveniently located, about 5-6 miles to Asheville and about 10 miles to Biltmore.
Grocery stores are very close by. Definately a place to visit again.
We came for a conference with a 3 year old and 1 year old. The house had a fully furnished kitchen so I could make my kids breakfast and myself coffee with ought the ordeal of having to get up get dressed and go find somewhere to eat. It was too cold to go out much so we didn't get to pet the llamas but we enjoyed seeing them from afar.
