Wonderful large gite, with spacious living room with six French doors. Three cool bedrooms of which two in the lower ground floor, also accessible from the terrace. Well equipped kitchen, bathroom with bath tub, wash basin and WC, separate fountain in the hall way, and another separate WC and separate shower.
Terrace in front of the living room and large table in the garden below, under the apple tree.
The gite is situated in the back house of a historical property, which was used as a workshop. (the oldest part of the house is about four centuries old.) Evidence of this are the remains of a wood oven, and the impressive number of beams in the old living room, which ensured the attic could house the heavy machinery for flax processing. The huge chimney in the house also bears witness to this past. Moreover, the property is far too big to have been used just as a residence in this traditionally very poor region.
The house is located on the top of a hamlet with panoramic views, at the start of the Ardeche valley. Here nature is very rough, with rocks and chestnut trees, and the Ardeche is only a stream. Near the house is also a stream, and this makes a nice play area under the trees for children.
