About the property

House, 6 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 5 Baths, (Sleeps 11-15)

Beautiful New Dillon Single Family home in great secluded location. 6 Bedrooms and 5 baths, living room, large kitchen great for entertaining a large number of people, large deck with gas grill, great views of Red Peak and Buffalo Mountain, close to bike and hiking trails, walking distance to Dillon town center and Dillon Marina, central to all ski resorts (6-miles to Keystone, 10-miles to A-Basin, Breckenridge and Copper, and 25-miles to Vail), clean and well-maintained. Unfinished basement with games (ping-pong, darts and Wii) and additional living room + plus additional beds in lofts. Sleeps 11-15.

We built this home in 2008 and finished the basement in 2013 and use it nearly every weekend. It’s a great place away from the crowds, but close enough to the resorts to enjoy the winter, fall spring and summer festivities. We are currently only providing it during the weekdays and weekends we are not staying at very attractive rate as we typically do not get a chance to get up there during the week. If you have specific dates in mind, please let us know as we may be able to accommodate your request.

Please call us with any questions. We look forward to having you as our guest.

Why The Owner chose Dillon

We built this home as we were tired of driving up from Denver every weekend. It's a great place, away from the crowds and everything in the home is brand new.

What makes this house unique

The deck is enormous, and we really love sitting out enjoying a glass of wine while looking out at Red Peak and Buffalo Mountain.

Great FAMILY Home with so much room and location is perfect!

  • 5 of 5

We rented this for a family wedding happening in the area and could not have been happier with house and the location. It was clean, very family oriented with a lot of room. We were close to all activities such as hiking, whitewater rafting, many other popular towns to visit, shopping and restaurants. The basement was great since we had some who wanted to stay up later and the pool table was a plus for our family. The owners were very good to work with and we had their numbers if we needed anything.

The pictures do not do justice to this house and we will repeat our stay without any doubt.

  • 5 of 5

We were 3 families of four looking to spend Xmas is the snow. This house exceeded our expectations. Even though it is not a HUGE house, we were very comfortable and not in each others way. Every bedroom was spacious. The owners were easy to communicate with and made us feel welcome from the first day of contact.

The kitchen was well equipped and had plenty of plates for everyone. The house is centrally located to a big supermarket, many restaurant, the Outlet mall and only 2 minutes to drive to Interstate 70.

We highly recommend this property. Thank you Chad for making our stay so comfortable.

Great experience

  • 5 of 5

This home was perfect for gathering our family attending a wedding in Silverthorne. We live all around the world and had not been all together for a few years. Your home was a great fit. The kids loved the bunk room. There was plenty of room to sit and talk or to play pool or other games. We enjoyed the hot tub after a long wedding day. Our group had 3 babies and the availability of port a cribs was a plus. All of the children in our group were under 10 but the home would be great for families with teenagers also. The Wii was a big hit.

The beds were very comfortable. For me that was a big plus. The home was clean and felt like home. I recommend this home for any group that wants to spend time together in the area.

Thanks Chad

Exceeds Expectations - Would Repeat without Hesitation

  • 5 of 5

I couldn't be more pleased with our family retreat in the mountains. I am a frequent user of VRBO and the owners of this property are some of the best. The layout of the house was perfect with ample bedrooms and bathrooms. We really enjoyed the ability to eat inside or outside and enjoy the summer weather in Colorado. The location is extremely convenient for just about anything ... we loved every minute of our trip and tears were shed when we had to leave!!

Great week in Dillon!!

  • 5 of 5

My family of 12 (6 adults, 6 kids ages 9-17) just returned from a great trip to Dillon Colorado, where we stayed in this wonderful 6 bedroom home. The owners were very friendly, and super easy to work with. The layout was perfect with two large bedrooms (king bed in one, 4 twins and 2 fulls in the other!) and a bathroom upstairs where we put all the kids. There was a large landing area too, with a futon where yet another person could have slept. This left 3 additional bedrooms with direct bathroom access (2 on the main floor and one in the basement) for the adult couples, and yet another bedroom in the basement for my teenage son, who wasn't so much into the togetherness! The kids had a great time playing pool in the basement. We made s'mores at the fire pit out back, and cooked wonderful meals in the upstairs kitchen. The kitchen was a bit disorganized, so we had a little trouble finding things, but in the end we were able to locate almost everything we needed. We had a minor issue with the washing machine, but it was fixed immediately with no hassle on our part.

My only word of warning would be a simple heads up about a unique situation at the house. As the owner states, this is a vacation home they use nearly every weekend. My family loves to use VRBO because we get to move into a fabulous house in a great vacation area, and pretend it is OURS for the week. Staying at the Dillon house was more like staying with another family, minus the people. The owner's things were everywhere. This was a bit off-putting when we first arrived, but by the end we didn't really mind. I just think it's important to go into it knowing what you are getting into. When I expressed concern about this before our arrival, the owner was very kind to clear out some extra space for us, which helped a lot. The biggest problem we had was in the kitchen. There was not a single empty cabinet to unload the food we had brought (12 people eat a lot of food in a week!) and the fridge and freezer were about half full with the owner's things. After a little relocating and consolidating, we were able to make room and get our stuff unpacked.

All in all, this was a great house and a good rental experience. I would recommend renting this house to anyone!

Fantastic House for a Work Retreat

  • 5 of 5

This property was just what our HR team needed - a week of admiring the gorgeous snow covered mountains from the deck, a comfortable home to hold our daily meetings at the kitchen table, a huge TV lounge area in the lower level, a fire pit to roast marshmellows for smores at night, and a hot tub to release the stress of life. The bedrooms are plenty big and everyone had their own bathroom/shower. :-) And the location - close to everything we wanted to do including the Georgetown train/silver mine tour, a 20 minute trip to the continental divide and an evening in Breckenridge. A couple of us found the hiking trail at the end of the road and enjoyed a nice hike one evening. Thank you Chad for everything! You have an absolutely lovely home!
