This is the most fun we've had in a long time. We went on a girls getaway it was about 10 of us in and out over the weekend. It is such a beautiful house! We loved floating in the river, using the hot tub, playing pool, and loved the jukebox! There is plenty of room and such a beautiful view. It was soo peaceful and the owner was very helpful. We will def be back and can't wait to do it again! Reasonably priced and soo worth every penny. Thank you Rick for sharing your beautiful home
My family and I (6 adults and an infant) spent a week at this property. We had plenty of space, the basement area was awesome for all with a pool table, jukebox and a tv. Outside is setup perfectly with a fire pit and access into the river with fishing rods and tubes made available for us. We had a great time and would recommend this house to anyone looking for an awesome country vacation location!
My husband and I took our grown children with the 4 grandchildren to the river. One last vacation before school starts.
We had a blast! Everyone had a great time. The house was fantastic; the bedrooms were nice and roomy; everyone
had their own bath. The grandchildren had their own room; they loved it!
Everyone enjoyed the playroom; The juke box, the pool table, the corn hole game! lots of things to play with!
The grandkids brought their own kayaks. We went down the river several miles , it was so much fun! They also brought
hammocks, tied them in the trees out back by the river!
They loved feeding the deer every morning; making smores at night! Oh but dont forget the rope swing! Wow, what fun
they had swinging into the river!
Just a great time and a great place to stay! Rick was around to answer any questions; he was very helpful ; great guy!
My family really enjoyed this cabin!!! There were 4 adults and 6 kids (ages 9-18) and EVERYONE loved it!! The cabin is very spacious, no one was on top of each other. The man cave is sooo much fun and we all loved the jukebox and pool table. There's a rope swing in the tree out over the river that the kids and adults had so much fun on. It brought back so many memories from when I was growing up visiting the smokies and swimming off rope swings in the rivers. There are lots of tubes and a canoe we enjoyed several times during our week. And I have a newfound love of playing horse shoes!! The firepit was also great!! And lightning bugs at night!!! I honestly can't say enough good things about this place!!Deer were all around the front yard every day, all day, they loved the dried corn... we went to the local Wal-mart (about 10 min away) and bought more dried corn for the next family coming. It was only like $6 for a huge bag. Rick is so good about communicating, a really nice guy!
My extended family of 16 stayed in this home and it was larger than the pictures look. We had plenty of room for 5 busy little boys and we really enjoyed the outside space. The home is beautiful and has everything you need for a wonderful vacation. We did have a problem accessing the community pool that was listed and unfortunately Rick was unaware of the way that would affect us while there. He was very apologetic and did his best to make it up to us. It's just one of those things that couldn't be "fixed" but Rick was very helpful in making sure we were happy in the end. We were very happy with our stay and didn't let the pool issue spoil our trip.
This was our second stay and we love it! Everything you'll need is there, just bring your food. You get relaxing, fun and comfortable all rolled up in one. Rick, the owner, is by far one of the nicest people we have ever dealt with. We will definitely be returning....soon I hope!
