In the “Harz” you will find kilometres of walking and cycling paths and also many lakes (like “Eckertalsperre” & “Oderteich”) that can be easily reached. The Park has also a rich collection of opportunities to immerse yourself fully into its history and heritage – both past and present like the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage city Quedlinburg or Wernigerode or the former “iron curtain”.
