My mom, sister and I along with an aunt and 3 cousins traveled to Natchez for a girls weekend. We stayed in the lovely 4-bedroom Elmsley Cottage. It featured modern conveniences yet still evoked some sense of an older home. Marcia even stocked the frig and pantry for us which was an unexpected surprise. Will definitely stay at one of Marcia's
Cottages in the future.
I have rented both Marcia's Cottage and it's sister next door, Elmsley Cottage. Both are wonderful places to stay. I travel to Natchez monthly and enjoy staying at one of these cottages. They are quiet, clean, well furnished, comfortable beds, and well stocked kitchens. Located close to downtown, they also make it easy to walk back and forth to restaurants and shops.
The Evergreen property was amazing! If you want to stay in a place that is quiet and restful, this is the location. The accomodations were great and the kitchen/pantry were so well stocked. This location is not far from the downtown area where you can enjoy lots of fun shopping. Dale, property manager, was very helpful and made us feel very welcomed.
My sisters and I spent two beautiful nights in Evergreen, where the home and furnishings were gorgeous. The views from the riverbank patio were unbelievable. Dale Ross, manager, personally greeted us to share tips for dining and activities for our visit. The pantry and fridge were even stocked for our arrival! If you are looking for a relaxing place to swing on the front porch or lounge on the private back deck, this is the place for you. We will definitely be back.
We visited in April 2013 with another couple. We stayed in Evergreen. It was so much more than we had expected! Marcia had chosen the best of everything, right down to the towels. We dubbed Dale "Mr. Natchez"! He was so kind and accomodating. He even put lounge chairs on the bluff overlooking the mighty Mississippi River. We look forward to a return visit and highly recommend it for anyone!
We have stayed at Marcia's Cottage twice and both stays were marvelous! Both cottages were immaculate and extremely well stocked. This last time we stayed in the Evergreen cottage which overlooks the Mississippi River. The cottage was beautiful and the view unbelievable!
wouldn't think of staying anywhere in Natchez but in one of Marcia's Cottages!
