Welcome to our home, in Ocean Reef, a private, gated community, on the pristine shores of Emerald Isle, NC. This direct oceanfront condo, Ocean Reef 5A2, is exactly what you are looking for. It is located on the top floor with million dollar views that will take your breath away. Saturday to Saturday turn days only.

You will also love the views from the NEW ( 2016 ) large private, furnished, oceanfront deck. There is easy beach access down the staircase. A sound side deck with a double glider offers pool and sound views, a great place to watch the summer sunsets. Convenient access to the private community pool, just across the driveway.

This condo is elegantly decorated with many high end features. Enjoy a good nights rest on the Simmons 5 Zone Ultimate Back Care Signature 3000 Pillowtop Queen mattress in MBR. The second bedroom also features a queen with a 2 inch memory foam topper. Upgraded linens from the Biltmore® collection with 500 Thread Count Biltmore Renaissance Stripe Sheet set in each bedroom with beds made. Elegant comforters on each bed. A brand new ( 2017 ) 32 inch Flat Screen Samsung LED High Def TV has been added to the master bedroom. Soak in the master suite's oversized 6'x6' Jacuzzi for 2 . Dry off with the a set of Quik-Dry Towels for each person.

Additional projects for 2017, are new bathroom vanity with quartz top in master bedroom, new vanity in 2nd bath, new LVT plank flooring in the bedrooms.

HBO-GO and STARZ are some of the features on the SMART apps. Add your own apps and watch what you want.

Eat your meals at the large glass and rattan dining room table for 6 with the ocean as your backdrop. Cook your meals in this well equipped kitchen that had a face lift with whitewashed cabinets and a granite countertop island with bar stools. This condo features a ceramic tile entry, hallway, kitchen, and baths.

Activities in the neighborhood include lounging by or swimming in the private community pool, playing shuffleboard or basketball. Tennis courts have reopened, so bring your rackets.

This condo is a Weekly Vacation Rental Only. If one desires to rent less than a week the rate is still the weekly rate. Saturday to Saturday turn days.

Parking available for 2 Cars Only. Must display parking pass on dashboard.

Preferred method of payment is E-checks offered through Homeaway and VRBO **Security deposit required. ($500 ) This is in addition to rental rate and does not apply to rental rate. The security deposit is refundable with an approved inspection with no damage, theft or fines to the property. Security deposit preferred method of payment option echecks.

About Denise

I am a beach bum. I have always lived near water; whether it was the shores of the Magothy River in Severna Park, Maryland, the Jersey shore of Manasquan and Pt. Pleasant Beach, or the Southern Outer Banks of NC. Whenever our second home is vacant I jump in the car and make the 3 hour drive from Chapel Hill so I can sit on the pristine beach of Emerald Isle. You may have already met me and my dog ( Riley ) on one of your visits to Emerald Isle. I will always be accessible to you 24/7 during your stay.

We take great pride in our second home and have decorated it like a home vs a rental property. We want you to feel like this is your home away from home. We would appreciate you taking care of it during your stay.

We have managed our property ourselves since 2009. We have been on sites such as VRBO and Homeaway and have over 20 Five Star Reviews there

We chose Ocean Reef as our vacation home because of the views as soon as you walk in the door. Just breath taking! The ocean was calling our name. Can you hear it calling your name? Come take a look for yourselves; you will be glad you did.

What makes this condo unique

We are a south facing island so one can enjoy the sunrises in the summer over the ocean and in the fall and winter one can enjoy the sunsets over the ocean. See our photos. Nothing like the ocean just out your front door!

Just wanted to take a minute and thank you a thousand times over for the BEST vacation that we have ever had. We have had a stressful year with a very sick baby and spent last summer in hospitals and doctor offices, this by far surpassed our need for a get away. Your place was perfect for us and everyone had a wonderful time. We have already started talking about when we could come back! Wonderful condo with priceless view

Wonderful condo, right on the beach with everything you can ask for and more! The condo is in great condition, clean, well-maintained, and provided plenty of space for us, a family of four. Decorated with a lot of love and attention to detail, which made us feel home right away. Interaction with the owner was great and helped with a smooth check-in and check-out. Plenty of things to do in the area, or just enjoy the beautiful beach. We could not get enough of the ocean breeze, so we had to finish off the beach day with a night walk on the beach. We have never stayed that close to the beach and have never seen that many beautiful sea shells. It is a paradise for kids, just keep a close eye on the kids with the Rip currents present at times. This time of the year the beach was fairly empty. One of our highlights was a visit to the Sea Turtle Hospital in Surf City (~1,5 hr drive one way). The only sad moment of our vacation was when we had to pack up and go home. We will definitely try to come back!

Wonderful Beach Condo with priceless view and ocean wave sound

We spent a wonderful week here. The condo has everything you can ask for and more.

Decorated with lots of love and attention to detail, it really made us feel like home. Lots of space for us, a family of four, even with some quiet time for us parents due to the separation of the bedrooms. Get up in the morning and listen to the sound of the waves, play at the beach, go home for lunch break, and continue to play on the beach in the afternoon. End the day with a night walk on the beach. Or explore some of the nearby attractions. The condo is just perfect! Location, amenities, everything. We have never stayed that close to the beach. Greatest selection of sea shells we have ever seen. One thing to watch out for is Rip Currents, especially for younger kids. We will definitely try to come back!

Best vacation spot ever!

This is by far the best place we have ever rented! It is beautifully located and just a wonderful place to stay. Perfectly situated right on the ocean and the view from the deck is amazing! This unit sticks forward a bit so you have an entire 180 degree view of the ocean from your seat with no obstructions! The condo has updated decor and fixtures and you just feel like you are in your own home... Everything is kept super clean and comfortable, all the way down to the bed linens which are luxurious and just like you would use at home! The beach is clean and private for the owners/renters in this beautiful gated community, although you can walk 100 yards up the beach to the public beach if you want. The swimming pool in the community is great for the rough beach days, although we had none of those! Before we came, the weather forecast said it would rain every day so we were a little worried. Got to town and the first restaurant commented "oh they say rain every day. If it isn't breezy no rain will come and even on breezy days it is just normally a quick passing rain". We had perfect weather and it only rained one morning till 11am and then was absolutely gorgeous the rest of the day. We love Emerald Isle as it is not as commercialized as other places but you can drive 10-20 minutes and be in the hustle and bustle of shopping/eating, etc. You have to go eat at Hwy 55 Burgers, Rucker Johns and the Crab Shack! Cannot say enough great things about this condo and this area and the owners are super friendly and communicate amazingly!!! Can't wait to go back!

The bestest of the best!

We have visited Emerald Isle multiple times over the last 20 years and no condo is as clean, well-maintained as this condo. Everything you would want is here! Location, layout and amenities abound. The owners have gone out of their way to make our vacations there perfect in all ways. Conveniently located to all the great restaurants, entertainment, historical sites, aquarium, grocery stores, gift shops, tours and much more. A gated community makes you feel very secure. The pool is fantastic, and the surrounding play areas are superior to any others. It sits on the higher floor level, so the view of the beach and ocean cannot be beat! We would recommended this location to friends and relatives without reserve (as long as they're not there during our week!..:>}..) Only bad thing is having to leave and return home!
