About Marina Mazur
This home has been running as a vacation rental for over 9 years. It's been a great experience and I have hosted many wonderful travellers throughout the years who have created great memories! Through this long-term experience as a host, I have learned what works and what does not, and through this I have fine tuned a great guest experience for happy, satisfied guests. I am always on the lookout to improve. My style of hosting can be defined as pro-active and highly-responsive, with thorough information supplied to the guest during the pre-arrival phrase, throughout their stay, and post stay follow up if required. Italy is my number one travel destination - I am half Italian, I also love California - I grew up in Santa Barbara where I spend my summers. I love to cook and I have teenage son in boarding school here in the UK. When I am traveling, I like to seek 'off the tourist track' places to have a more authentic experience.

Why Marina Mazur chose North Kensington
I love Notting Hill. There’s a reason why so many films are set in here. The neighborhood’s cobblestoned streets weave through scrunched alleyways and richly furnished Victorian townhomes, and its stylish shops and passionate antique vendors satiate design-driven appetites: Notting Hill’s famed Portobello Road Market is a rummager’s delight. Celebrated as much for its idyllic streetscapes as it is for its cafe lifestyle and ephemeral fancies, it’s easy to understand Notting Hill's cinematic celebrity. A 10-minute walk will take guests into the fashionable, hip areas of Portobello Road, and Golbourne Road markets. Adjacent Westbourne Grove boasts high- end designer shopping. The home backs onto Kensington Memorial Park affording lovely open sky views and wide open space and wonderful natural light in the home itself. The park has tennis courts and a fantastic kids playground for letting off steam after sightseeing.
What makes this House unique
Open-plan loft lateral homes are a rarity in London and provides a great American-style space for the whole group to relax and socialise in. The ground floor is nice and wide as opposed to terraced houses which are narrow. Please view floor plan in the photographs to see the layout. I provide pre-arrival pdf's detailing how to get to the home from major airports with car pick recs, what to expect in the home when you arrive, how to get groceries in, and other important transport info to/from the home to planning your sightseeing. Hotel quality beds/linen and towels and fully equipped for a most comfortable stay. Adjacent park and playground is a huge bonus for kids.
100% refund for cancellations more than 60 days before check-in date.
Great Apartment in a very Interesting part of London
For our family trip to London this year we were interested to stay in a new part of London that we hadn’t had a lot of exposure to. Marina’s loft in the Nottingham shill area close to Portobello road was fantastic! Lots to see and experience around Portobello road and every restaurant we visited was wonderful. Great Food! The loft itself is very spacious and clean as described plus very interestingly contented with artwork and literature..a very interesting place. In the end we found Ladbroke Grove tube less convenient than booking a taxi online that came right to the door (Addison lee was fantastic)..all in all a great experience made possible by a great apartment in a nice quiet area..i would recommend it!
This home is exactly as portrayed in photos and description. Beautiful and FULLY appointed.
Marina, the homeowner, was very responsive from my first inquiry until our departure. She takes great pride in her home and the responsibility of renting her home. You will have everything you need in this home. We were a family of five - 2 adults and 3 older teens. Marina has many lovely furnishings that she is rightly particular about. There are many signs around the house about what to touch and what not to touch. Some may find this off-puttting. I would say that this is not a home to rent if you have young children. The location of this home is not central to the sites most go to London to see. We took the tube (10 minute walk to station) and made several transfers to get to most sites. Not a problem with our family as we are from a big city and use public transportation. If you are not comfortable with public transportation or traveling with young children or someone with mobility issues, and visiting London for the sites, this location might not be ideal unless you are okay to spend money on Uber or taxi’s. We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed our time in Marina’s home and in London.
Wonderful London Stay in this Fantastic Loft House
Great space. Perfect for families. We are a family of 5 and the size was perfect. Clean, stylish, comfortable, much attention to detail - everything a family could need and more. Great location, walking distance to many shops, markets and restaurants in the Portobello area. Easy transportation to sites in London proper. We would highly recommend this Loft.
Loved Staying at This Beautiful Flat
Our family of four had a great stay at Marina's Notting Hill flat. We loved the location and the park next door was great for our two kids, who loved spending time there at the end of each day. The flat is beautiful, super clean, light and bright and homey. It is well equipped with everything needed and Marina was very helpful, responsive and accommodating in helping to ensure a great stay. Would love to stay here again someday the next time we visit London. Highly recommend!
Clean . Smart, relaxing, quiet, and convient to the tube to see the sights of London
The property was spacious and comfortable for out family of 6. Kitchen, dining and bedroom areas are nice and well stocked and maintained. Marina showed us around on arrival and was very helpful. Great home and very well taken care of as a home! Loved it!
Business travel done right!
We booked this home as a place where my colleagues and I could have a comfortable stay during our brief work trip to London - it was definitely the right choice! The home was spacious and suited our needs just right. Marina was attentive, responded very quickly to any questions and was proactive in planning the meet up for the hand-off of the keys. Barbara was over and hour late but the flight was delayed so it caused some issues getting access to the house. The area the home was in was very safe and quiet.
