An oasis of calm in a hectic city

Our group consisted of a family of 4, for which the apartment was perfect. It was quiet, spacious, beautifully furnished, clean and comfortable with all amenities as described. Everything was lovely, the owners had thought of everything necessary for a comfortable stay and we have nothing remotely negative to say. When you open the french windows the sound of water trickling in the fountain outside the building entrance made a lovely sound track to breakfast/lunch/dinner. The availability of a garage was a big bonus (we found out that parking tickets are issued very quickly - we parked on the street when we first arrived, just to go inside and find the key to the garage, and within 5 minutes had received a ticket!). We did not really have time to explore the local area on foot so cannot comment on this aspect, but the property is on a quiet, residential street just a couple of blocks from a main thoroughfare. We have no hesitation in whole heartedly recommending the apartment - we loved it.

Upscale and Convenient

I rented this property for a weekend retreat as a 'hideout' to let a cousin recover from an illness. We did little other than watch the Olympics and drink coffee. That meant we spent quite a lot of time indoors. But that was not a problem. In the morning, we opened up the windows to let in a beautiful breeze that cooled the living room. In the afternoon, the air conditioning worked flawlessly. All of us slept well. I particularly liked that the living areas were separated from the bedrooms enough that some could sleep in. The patio, although small, was a perfect place to drink coffee in the morning. In short, the place was comfortable and perfectly suited our needs. If I were in the area, I would definitely look up this place again.

Excellent property

Perfect location convenient to museums and other tourist attraction, immaculate property exactly as advertised. Quite street with off street parking in permit area in either garage or driveway. Very clean, amenities including shampoo and soap, plenty of extra towels and sheets. Bathroom has great shower in addition to a tub, closet space is excellent, well-equipped kitchen. Excellent internet connection, local phone for calls. Second floor location could be an issue for those who cannot climb stairs. Beds are great. Will stay again for sure.
