Fantastischer Urlaub zwischen Bergen und Meer

  • 4 of 5

The small Ligurian mountain village of Vasia is situated very picturesquely situated on an altitude of 385m in the hinterland of Porto Maurizio. Among the gentle mountain landscape, surrounded by countless olive groves and oak woods, it is open to the south to the coast and is bordered in the north-west of the foothills of the Ligurian Alps. Vasia has a small grocery store, a post office and a small pharmacy. Alessandro Martini, the owner and operator of the Azienda Agricola 'Il Poggio' produces a hervoragendes organic olive oil and pickled in brine organic olives you any time can purchase him.

Four times a day a bus into the city of Imperia. For major shopping there in the, 9 km away Caramagna a large supermarket which is open throughout the week throughout. In Porto Maurizio and Oneglia - two formerly individual towns that have been united under Mussolini and christened 'Imperia' - there are three times a week a large street market where you can also wonderful purchase: vegetables, fruits, cheese, ham and salami, as well as household goods, shoes, bags, et cetera.

The mild Mediterranean climate makes this region virtually all year round for a variety recreational activities attractive. Attractions there are enough in the near and far and it is guaranteed to suit all tastes and ages catered for. Tempting city tours of Exactly, Nice or Turin or culinary tours in Liguria or Piedmont or in neighboring France. The small fishing villages along the Ligurian coast are enchanting and absolutely worth a visit. Those who prefer something Chic, should not shy away from the path and into the villages Ostliigurien Portofino. Camogli and Santa Margherita View.
