This exceptional and beautifully furnished apartment on the second and last floor of a multi-party villa with direct lake access offers a large south-west facing balcony with a 180° view of the lake and the Alps. Here you can enjoy the spectacular atmosphere of the lake and romantic sunsets. There's always something to look at, be it the sailboats passing by or swaying in the wind, passengers boarding the ferries or the windsurfers and kiters carving in the water. The lake sometimes appears wild, sometimes gentle - and in the evening the flickering of the waves reflect on the ceiling of kitchen.
Relax and enjoy, living, cooking, dining, sleeping or even working: all with a view of the lake. There are TVs in the living room, in the two bedrooms and in the lounge area of the gallery and Wi-Fi throughout the apartment. There's a stereo with DAB tuner and Bluetooth and USB connection in the living room.
The kitchen is fully equipped and has everything you need for the preparation of hot and cold meals and drinks: fridge, freezer, ceran stove and oven, dishwasher, microwave, espresso machine, toaster, kettle and blender. The pots and pans, cutlery and cutting block are from WMF, the dishes from Villeroy & Boch.
Comfortable leather sofas and chairs, attractive, indirect lighting and powerful pictures create the perfect atmosphere. The lake, the sun, wind and clouds create a changing, breathtaking scenery.
The two bedrooms are equipped with high quality box spring double beds. In the master bedroom, a small desk overlooks the lake. This bedroom has direct access to the bathroom, and has its own small balcony. The bedroom on the gallery level offers a large walk-in closet.
The newly renovated bathroom with floor heating has a "walk-in shower", bath, bidet and toilet. A large sink with a spacious cabinet completes the furnishings. A separate WC is available for guests.
In a small storage room you will find a vacuum cleaner, broom, ladder, and other household goods. There is also room for beverage crates and other stock. The washing machine and clothes dryer are located in the laundry room in the basement.
An easily accessible parking space is available in front of the house. Another parking spot is available in the underground garage. Since the commuter train station is only a 6-minute walk away, however, you do not necessarily need a car. The S8 train runs directly from the airport or downtown Munich to Herrsching. Shops and supermarkets for everyday needs are also within walking distance.
Leisure: you will find numerous restaurants, taverns, cafes and bistros to the left and right of the apartment along Germany's longest lake promenade (10 km) that runs directly in front of the house. A few metres away, you can rent boats, other water sports equipment or bicycles. There is also a mini golf course only 450 m south of the apartment. A park with Herrsching's little castle and tennis courts is 300 m in the other direction.
The cultural metropolis Munich is easily accessible with the S8 commuter train or by car in about the same time. The ski resort in Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Germany's highest mountain, the Zugspitze in the Bavarian Alps can be reached within about an hour.
