This exceptional, newly renovated (2015) and beautifully furnished apartment on the second and last floor of a multi-party villa with direct lake access offers a large south-west facing balcony with a 180° view of the lake and the Alps. Here you can enjoy the spectacular atmosphere of the lake and romantic sunsets. There's always something to look at, be it the sailboats passing by or swaying in the wind, passengers boarding the ferries or the windsurfers and kiters carving in the water. The lake sometimes appears wild, sometimes gentle - and in the evening the flickering of the waves reflect on the ceiling of kitchen.
Relax and enjoy, living, cooking, dining, sleeping or even working: all with a view of the lake. There are TVs in the living room, in the two bedrooms and in the lounge area of the gallery and Wi-Fi throughout the apartment. There's a stereo with DAB tuner and Bluetooth and USB connection in the living room.
The kitchen is fully equipped and has everything you need for the preparation of hot and cold meals and drinks: fridge, freezer, ceran stove and oven, dishwasher, microwave, espresso machine, toaster, kettle and blender. The pots and pans, cutlery and cutting block are from WMF, the dishes from Villeroy & Boch.
Comfortable leather sofas and chairs, attractive, indirect lighting and powerful pictures create the perfect atmosphere. The lake, the sun, wind and clouds create a changing, breathtaking scenery.
The two bedrooms are equipped with high quality box spring double beds. In the master bedroom, a small desk overlooks the lake. This bedroom has direct access to the bathroom, and has its own small balcony. The bedroom on the gallery level offers a large walk-in closet.
The newly renovated bathroom with floor heating has a "walk-in shower", bath, bidet and toilet. A large sink with a spacious cabinet completes the furnishings. A separate WC is available for guests.
In a small storage room you will find a vacuum cleaner, broom, ladder, and other household goods. There is also room for beverage crates and other stock. The washing machine and clothes dryer are located in the laundry room in the basement.
An easily accessible parking space is available in front of the house. Another parking spot is available in the underground garage. Since the commuter train station is only a 6-minute walk away, however, you do not necessarily need a car. The S8 train runs directly from the airport or downtown Munich to Herrsching. Shops and supermarkets for everyday needs are also within walking distance.
Leisure: you will find numerous restaurants, taverns, cafes and bistros to the left and right of the apartment along Germany's longest lake promenade (10 km) that runs directly in front of the house. A few metres away, you can rent boats, other water sports equipment or bicycles. There is also a mini golf course only 450 m south of the apartment. A park with Herrsching's little castle and tennis courts is 300 m in the other direction.
The cultural metropolis Munich is easily accessible with the S8 commuter train or by car in about the same time. The ski resort in Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Germany's highest mountain, the Zugspitze in the Bavarian Alps can be reached within about an hour.

We have been living near Lake Starnberg for more than 10 years, only a few kilometres away from Lake Ammersee. The region is beautiful and diverse. It offers the natural beauty of the lakes and Alps, leisure, hospitality, culture and a vibrant city nearby.

The location of the apartment directly on the lake and thereby so central is spectacular. What's more is the character, the charisma of the apartment with its large, extraordinary windows, the high, open rooms and the large gallery.
Located directly on the lake with a view of the lake and the Alps, in the middle of the city of Herrsching, the docks for the tourist ships (100 m) and the commuter train to Munich and the airport (450 m) nearby. Remarkable architecture with lovely, first class furnishings.
I stayed here about a week in September and the property exceeded our expectations. It's a great location, well equipped and certainly as advertised. I can't think of a reason to be disappointed with this property. Stephan was a pleasure to work with as well.
Wow...what a wonderful place. We had a fabulous time at this tranquil lakeside apartment. My wife and I have stayed at several places and we have to say that by far this is one of the best! The decor, the linens, the dishes, the amenities, everything was very well thought out. We've already purchased a DeLonghi Nespresso machine like we had at the apartment because we loved it so much! Stephen was a wonderful host and met us at the apartment upon our arrival to go through operations. He was available via email and responded quickly to answer any questions we had. The location was perfect with restaurants, grocery stores, deli's, shops, beer gardens, boat rentals, bicycle rentals, the ferry, and train station, all within a 5 minute walk. Had wonderful meals at Steg 32, Seehof Biergarten, Ristorante Seespitz Da Mario and ordered pizza to go from Restaurant Promenade Herrsching to eat on the bulkhead and watch the sunset. It's a great central location to take day trips to Munich City Center, Neuschwanstein Castle, Andechs Monastery Brewery etc. You can swim in the lake, go for a stroll on the boardwalk or just sit on the deck and take it all in! The apartment is a well equipped with a lot of light, a small balcony in front of the lake promenade.

Simply faultless! A warm welcome to a wonderful modern apartment right on the Ammersee with mezzanine, extremely tastefully fitted out with modern decor and quality fittings. We had an awesome time, the beds & linen are so comfortable - I really recommend this apartment. Stephan speaks English fluently should you need assistance and is very quick to respond. Restaurants, supermarkets etc are all handy and Munich Hauptbahnhof is a short commute.
Die Ausstattung ist sehr exklusiv, sowie auf den Bildern zu sehen. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und dennoch umgeben von guten Restaurants. Stephan und seine Frau haben mich herzlich empfangen und alles in der Wohnung erklärt. Gleich am selben Abend meiner Ankunft haben sie sich erkündigt, ob alles ok sei oder ob was fehlen würde. Ich empfehle diese Wohnung zu jedem, der in einer exklusiven Atmosphäre ausspannen möchte. Ich selbst würde später wieder kommen. Herzlichen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft!
