Great place to stay on the Wild Atlantic Way

  • 4 of 5

My family and I just returned from our wonderful vacation in Ireland. We (two adults and 3 children ages 15, 13, 10) had a great time at this cottage. The property is beautiful and the home is spacious and has all the basic necessities. The Burren is gorgeous with many walking trails, scenic drives and attractions nearby. We visited the Cliffs of Moher, Inishere island on hoarse and trap which the kids loved, the Doolin cave. We also went to the beach and even swam! The villages around the area are adorable.

Our Fanore visit.

  • 5 of 5

A grand place, that is beautiful and serene. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is off the beaten path, just a bit, and has a remarkable "driveway"!

The views are amazing and proximity to the Burren and the Ocean? well you are right there.

If the time comes again, we will return!

Magical place in the Burren

  • 5 of 5

To start, the photos for this cottage do not do it justice. This is an absolutely fabulous place to stay - we felt so fortunate to be able to spend time here. The owners are fantastic people. While here we went on many adventures with our 8 and 11 year old sons, including heading to the Ailwee Cave, surfing lessons at Fanore Beach, trips into Doolin and Galway, and fabulous hikes up into the Burren. Also - go to the fishing tackle shop in Fanore. You can rent fishing rods from Mick and fish for Mackerel right off the shore of Black Head at dusk! The kids loved this, we did it a couple of nights.

This is an absolutely magical place and we were so happy to spend time here - very hard to leave!

Great house well equipped and modern

  • 5 of 5

We spent two weeks in Brendan's house with our two daughters and two friends of us. The house is modern, with large rooms and located in a very quiet area. It was perfect. We would recommend it to anyone who want to discover the west coast of Ireland.

We loved our stay

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay at the cottage. We stayed for 5 nights and it suited us perfectly. The first day we slept a good deal and then explored a bit on foot. We then hiked quite a bit - there are wonderful walking trails in the hills around the cottage. We then traveled to Ballyvaughn and Doolin. We even spent the whole day in Gallway and then got back at night. The beach is stunningly beautiful and the restaurants and pubs nearby great. We prefer to stay in cottages rather than hotels and b and bs so we were prepared to find our own way around. Brendan and Rita were wonderfully helpful. I can't say enough about the cottage. It was comfortable, clean, modern, allowed us to rejuvenate and be in the most spectacular natural setting.
