Please contact us for DISCOUNT RATES at the Napili Shores Resort! We welcome you as our guest in this quiet, informal paradise on over six landscaped oceanfront acres along Maui's west coast. You will have great views of Molokai and Lanai islands and witness beautiful sunsets while you are strolling on the beach or from your lounge chair. The ¼ mile white sand beach on Napili Bay has exceptional swimming and boogie boarding. Walk up to Kapalua beach for more reef snorkeling or to walk the shoreline trail system. Go around the point to Honokeana Bay to swim with the green sea turtles.
Ours is a ground floor studio apartment with fully equipped kitchen, a queen bed and a twin day bed/sofa. There is a large closet for storage in the private dressing area. The screen doors allow you to enjoy soothing tropical breezes. Walk out of the private lanai to view the ocean and you are just steps away from the solar-heated pool and jetted whirlpool spa. Start your day at the rock wall enjoying the free coffee watching for turtles and in season the visiting whales (see my 'breakfast toes' photo.) If you want the best macadamia nut pancakes on the island, be sure to try the on-site oceanfront Gazebo Restaurant. Walk to several other restaurants or barbeque your meal at the convenient gas grills and have a picnic on the grounds. Napili Shores unit D131 is a great vacation destination for couples or young families. The property is non-smoking in compliance with Hawaiian State Law.
Just 5 minutes up the road is the Kapalua Resort, featuring upscale dining, shops, and premier golf courses and tennis courts. Unlimited nightlife can be found close by in Ka’anapali and Lahaina. There is a general store and a full service supermarket within walking distance. Visit the Farmers Market where you can enjoy taste tempting tropical fruits (including fresh Maui gold pineapple), vegetables, and cheeses and know that your purchases support the local sustainable agriculture. Hiking and horse trails are plentiful in the West Maui mountain area.
With so much to explore on Maui, it is our hope that you will be one of our guests that will come back to stay with us again, and again.

Close to the busy town of Kaanapali, surrounded by running trails and hiking trails. Convenient proximity to grocery store, Kapalua, zip lining, and great restaurants. Would definitely reccommend this condo to friends!!
We regularly travel to Maui with our children. We have tried to explore most of the island, accommodations, and locations. Few places on the island are better than Napili (in our opinion). In Napili, there are no buildings taller than a palm tree, no mega-resorts, no drunken parties raging into the night that make it feel like las vegas. Napili Shores is a place for families and those who want a peaceful, relaxing, quaint, and safe place to stay. By 9pm, you can hear a pin drop. Parking is 15 feet from your door, no valet, no parking fees. Napili Shores and this rental is simply a hidden gem. Clean and loaded with everything you'll need. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is stocked with all the utensils you will need, a kitchen table with 4 chairs (some units in Napili Shores don't even have tables). This unit is 20 feet from the "upper" pool, which is another hidden gem: it's heated! Think about staying at a mega-resort, the pool is an elevator ride, then a walk through the lobby, then a walk to the pool - not with this place. You forget your sunscreen and need to go back to your rental? With this place, you're 15 seconds away from the pool. Our 7th stay at Napili area and we will absolutely be back to this rental.
We loved our stay at Napili Shores. Being near family who also rented there for our nephew's wedding was a big plus. We could just walk over and meet them for coffee, breakfast, a stroll on the beach, or a swim in the pool. My brother arranged to barbeque for several meals, so we could just walk to dinner. The restaurant for breakfast was not utilized by us, although we heard it was good. The line was always too long and we did not want to wait, so we just bought food at the nearby grocery store and ate breakfast in the room/on the patio most days. One day we did buy the delicious cinnamon/macadamia nut rolls from the cart up near the lobby.
The room was comfortable for my husband, myself and my elderly mother. She slept on the sofa/bed and was delighted that it was the right height for her. Many beds at motels/hotels are difficult for her to get in and out of. The table and chairs were perfect for playing cards with family. There were multiple paperback books in one cabinet, and a couple of games, but we did not utilize those.
The kitchen was not used much by us, but was well-equipped with dishes, cups, glasses, silverware, toaster, coffee pot, microwave, dishwasher, oven, and refrigerator. There was also a tea kettle to boil water for tea.
The patio area was perfect for eating breakfast, having a snack, bird-watching, or just reading and relaxing.
I used the snorkeling equipment in the closet, and was delighted to swim with the large green sea turtles and the colorful fish and see a lot of coral. My brother even spotted an eel that was poking its head out of its hiding place in the rocks, and after he spotted it, we saw it too.
The ocean was a bit rough for swimming a couple of days, but the bay is beautiful and perfect for sunning or wading or just walking along the beach.
The only complaint I had (and it is minor for most people) was that there are 3 steps to enter the condo from the parking lot. There is no handrail, so it was a bit of a problem for my nearly 90 year old mother. With her walker and our assistance, she was able to manage, but it was not something she could navigate herself. For meeting other people in our family group, she could walk out the sliding door and visit at the nearby swimming pool or walk down the sidewalk to the chairs near the cafe. But every time we left the complex (for the wedding, going out to eat or sight-see, etc.) it was difficult for her to get the short distance to our rental car.
A condo that has everything you need. The beach is gorgeous and the resort is beautiful and friendly. Owners professional and kind. Good value. Lanai is cozy. Not very private as the walkway is right in front although we didn't mind. Pool is so close and is wonderful, heated and there is also a great hottub. Would recommend to anyone wanting a slice of paradise for a decent price.
The property we stayed at was very nice.
There was no air con but don't worry its very breezy if you open the windows (they have bug screens!).
I didn't have any kitchen shears/aluminium foil but i bought the foil and left it for the next guest :) karma!
We would stay again and had a lovely time! Internet was stable! Beach was close and amazing! Unit was clean and tidy, could use a bit of updating if you are into that sorta thing but it has a unique charm to it :)
We had such an amazing time. The location is perfect, close to the beach, nice lanai, very clean, beach chairs/toys available and with a full kitchen. We really enjoyed our stay in 1D131 condo and we will definitely come back soon!!!!!!!!
Whale watching from the shore beginning November through April. Visit Lahaina for Art Night on Friday evenings to see art from all over the world, and meet the artists. Watch world class surfers here and also just around the corner at Honolua Bay. Try saying Humuhumunukunukuapua'a while snorkeling.
