Great rental and great location!

  • 5 of 5

The Victorian design of furniture and wallpaper was not our personal taste; but, if you can look past that, the rental was clean, affordable and In a great location. Our favorite part was the beach storage "box" that was included. No need to carry chairs, toys, boards etc. everything is stored in a locked box right on the sand! Brilliant. Would definitely stay here again!

Very positive and enjoyable

  • 5 of 5

The home was as advertised with what was in the home, very clean and well-maintained. I would recommend this rental to anyone looking in Cape May, it is centrally located close to shops and restaurants, and to the beaches.

Also, they were very quick about answering any questions about the property.

Cape May Treasure

  • 5 of 5

We were looking into many properties in Cape May, but now we're only checking if one is available.

It's cozy. It's very well stocked with everything you can possibly imagine and much, much more. It's a short walk from everything and in the beautiful Victorian Cape May area.

Our family of four enjoyed our stay so much, every time we looked back at the best time we had in the past year, Cape May is #1 on the list, and staying at this beautifully maintained home really made all the difference.

On a beautiful summer night, the fireflies fly around the property, above the grass in the front of the house. You look around while having a dinner on the porch, and you see them pass by. Almost as if they, too, were provided by this great property owner. Our kids were in the right kind of wonderland in a magical place Cape May truly is.

Oh, one more detail. There were tomatoes left on the table to greet us when we arrived. Stunning tomatoes, mind you, from their own garden. This is exactly the welcome you hope for, an owner with a sense of real hospitality. Class act.

Simply amazing, we came back to the craziness of NYC completely recharged, and can't wait to flee to Cape May again.

Gracious Host, Lovely Home in Cape May

  • 5 of 5

This charming second floor apartment in the heart of the town's residential district. The street is pretty and quiet, just two blocks to the excellent Washington Inn, close to all the shops, Our Lady Star of the Sea, and a stone's throw from the beach.

The apartment is most comfortable; eclectically furnished with beautiful pieces from the late 1800's and early 1900's, and very nicely done. The deck is a bonus - the weather was perfect. My husband and I had exchanged books as gifts and found it difficult to leave the comfortable chairs and umbrella table. There is a great grill out there as well.

Robert was a superb host, going above and beyond the call to accommodate us during our stay - and after, as well. I'd left my calling card case behind; he let me know immediately and I was able to retrieve it from the porch at his home a few days later. Thank you, Robert, for sharing your lovely Victorian Apartment with us, and for your gracious consideration and hospitality.

Excellent getaway location

  • 5 of 5

The apartment is nicely furnished and was very comfortable for our party of 5. The listing is indeed accurate and everything was clean and well-maintained. We were five minutes from the beach and even closer to the shops and restaurants on the Washington Mall. The weather was wet and windy for the duration of our stay, but we had an excellent time. Owner's customer service was impeccable--friendly and helpful from beginning to end. Highly recommend and would happily rent again.

Great location. Nice accommodations

  • 5 of 5

Could not beat the location for access to shops, restaurants and beach. Almost everything is an easy walk. We brought our bikes and did even more exploring. Head out to Sunset beach to find Cape May diamonds. Very nice older apartment/condo on the second floor in an older Victorian house. I would have preferred the bath had been upgraded, but that's consistent with the style of house, including the claw foot tub. Clean and comfortable. Owners were very responsive and prompt to questions via email during our stay. Definitely would recommend.
