Welcome to Casa Estrella! Casa Estrella has 5 individual apartments with plenty of space for 2 to 6 guests and is ideal for single couples or families with children. Each apartment has its own a private terrace or balcony with stunning pool and sea views. A wonderful place for a carefree holiday!

The large pool of 40 m² and the spacious pool terrace of 150 m² with barbecue and sun loungers are available all through the year.

The apartment has free internet access, satellite TV, electric heating and air conditioning, a private bathroom with shower, wc and washing machine, and a convenient kitchen.

Casa Estrella is located on a quiet, private residential street in Almuñecar on the Costa Tropical in Andalusia, away from the tourist bustle and without disturbing through traffic.

Nevertheless, up to the ample "Playa de Velilla" beach in Almuñecar it is only a 10-minutes walk and to "Playa del Tesorillo" beach it's approx. a 15 minute walk.

At Playa de Velilla beach there is the beautiful "Aqua Tropic" water park with open-air slides, swimming pool, solarium, numerous water sports activities and many attractions for young and old.

Along both beaches you will find many nice restaurants, tapas bars and small grocery stores for your daily needs.

Almuñecar is famous for its delicious tapas! Here, on the Costa Tropical in Andalusia these small delicacies are usually served still free with every drink.

To large supermarkets (Lidl, Mercadona) with many Spanish specialties and a very extensive international it is less than 5 minutes by car.


For your car there is free parking right outside the house.


The Costa Tropical in Andalusia is situated between the Costa del Sol and the Costa de Almería and occupies a beautiful part of the coast, which has the best conditions to spend wonderful holidays.

It is located right on the Mediterranean Sea and the proximity to northern Africa and the Sierra Nevada with the highest peaks of the peninsula protects the area from the cold north winds. A subtropical microclimate with 320 days of sunshine per year makes the cultivation of tropical fruits possible in the lush valleys.

The nearest airport is Malaga Airport (about 1 hour drive), but also Almeria and Granada are an option. A car is recommended.

A great place for a family vacation!

Stayed here in August 2017.

Find a villa by Navigation from Malaga without any problems. Paco was already there and was waiting for us.

A special thanks to him - very friendly and happy to always help!

Great and spacious apartments for big company or family with 2-4 children. Two balconies, beautiful seaview. Wery good that apartments have own swimmingpool – house is situated on the mountain and sometimes very lazy to go to the beach. Swimming pool is not so big, but enough for fun for children, and parents always can see what there is going on.

Nice and calm place, but of course you need a car – for going to the beach, for going to shopping, for going to city – this part of Almunecar is situated away from the sity.

About the Casa we have a lot of commentary.

Conditioner is working only in the living room, it is not enough for bedrooms. Parent's bedroom window is on a level with the road and all street's noise you can hear in your room. + Right in front of the window on the road is a rain hatch, which knocks every time when the cars drive through it. This is doubly inconvenient. But the window could not be closed because of bad ventilation. But when you are out of home, better close all windows/gates because of cats.

Kitchen is tiny, but it is enough for little cooking. But should be more equipment – for example there are only two pans one of them in a bad condition. Not enough dish for cooking.

The most problem are ants. They are everywhere and you need to clean all kitchen after cooking immediately and keep all food in closed bags or packs. Better to keep all in the fridge. (There are two fridges in apartments and it is good). All sponges or dish-clothes looks like big invite for ants an you have to dry it on the balcony. But if keep all surfaces clean and dry, ants don't go. But host have to do something with one one fridge - it works with very nasty noise, it's not convenient to stay in the living room for long.

One of huge problem - permanent smoking neighbors. The smell goes up!

It would also be nice to add some beach accessories to the apartments: umbrellas, chairs and beach games.

Those are our small commentaries about the Casa. As for the rest it is beautiful apartments, very kindly and helpful owner, nice place and we had a wonderful vacations.
