Even if it is a peaceful residential area, the location is very central: It is just a 10 minute walk to the Kurfürstendamm.
The apartment was completely renovated in 2015 and completely newly equipped with a new bathroom, kitchen and furniture. It is equipped with a flat screen television, wireless internet, a HiFi system and complete electrical equipment in the sanitary and kitchen area (stove, washing machine, dishwasher, oven, fan, fridge, freezer).
Furthermore, the apartment has a balcony that invites you to unwind between the tree tops surrounding the Barbarossastrasse.
Just like the apartment, the building was recently completely restored as well. It is equipped with an elevator (half-floor) so that the apartment is accessible for people with slight handicaps. Welcome!
I was born in Namibia to a German mother and Scottish dad. During my geology studies, I lived in Berlin for two years. Now I work for an oil company in Peru, but I never lost my love to Berlin. As I want to feel home in Berlin, I bought a beautiful apartment there. As I am away most of the times, I like to share it with others.

We rented the Wellness apartment with Spanish character for five nights in early November. Ian was the perfect host and communication with him was excellent. The apartment was beautifully appointed, nicely designed, spotlessly clean and perfect for our stay in Berlin. The well-equipped kitchen served us nicely as we like to make our own evening meals while traveling.
It is located in a quiet residential neighborhood and the large windows look out on a peaceful street scene. The apartment is within walking distance of the major sites of Berlin but the distances are not short and in the cold rainy weather we had while visiting we quickly adapted to the easy and well-connected U-bahn and S-bahn systems of Berlin. Since we arrived late at night we felt getting the keys from a source a good distance away from the actual apartment was a bit to contend with in an unfamiliar city without fluency in German and relying on taxi service. Once there however we were rewarded with the cozy comfort of this “home away from home”.
The apartment is ideal for 2 people and located in a beautiful suburb. It's just a few minutes walk to a supermarket, shops, restaurants and the U Bahn train to the sights of Berlin. The owner is very helpful and always quick to reply to any questions.
Ian's apartment is very nice. It looks brand new. Nice amenities along with basics to make your stay welcome and enjoyable. The location is super close to two S-Bahn stations. Only a couple blocks away to each. Ian was great to work with. His communications were always quick and clear. I will for sure plan on staying here next time I am in Berlin and will recommend to my friends and family.
My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights. The location is a little further out than we would normally want but the price fit the budget and the location was great. Transportation to the downtown area is nearby. If you choose to take a cab, you can expect to pay around 14 to 15 Euros. The apartment is very well furnished and supplied. There is a clothes washer as well as a dishwasher. The neighborhood is residential and very quiet, perfect after a busy day sightseeing the relaxing on the balcony . I would definitely stay there again.

Overall the apartment where clean and well equipped.
The apartment was in great condition and everything you need is there (Fully supplied kitchen, Iron, hair dryer etc.). On top of that there is a lovely balcony, on which we managed to enjoy our breakfast on every morning. U-bahn is within walking distance, though 5 min walk is to be expected to the nearest station. The key pick-up has a slightly inconvenient pick-up location (4 blocks away) and the check-out proces description does not make any sense. But we managed to leave the key and bid a comfortable 4-day stay in Berlin farewell. Thus i recommend you rent this place for your trip to Berlin.
The apartment is located directly in the centre of Berlin in the pulsating, constantly changing district of Schöneberg.
Schöneberg, the political and cultural centre of former West Berlin, houses well known names like the Wittenbergplatz, Winterfeldtmarkt, the Bavarian District, the Kurfürstendamm and of course the Schöneberg Town Hall where John F. Kennedy said his famous sentence from the balcony: "Ich bin ein Berliner!". Schöneberg has become one of the most popular and well-known residential areas in the city. Billy Wilder, Albert Einstein, Marlene Dietrich and David Bowie - these are just a few of the celebrities who lived in Schöneberg. As a social and ethnic melting pot ("Berlin Mixture"), Schöneberg houses one of Europe's largest gay communities, which settled during the beginning of the 20th century on and around the Nollendorfplatz and the Motzstraße.
