Also built in is a very good water filter device (reverse osmosis) with a small extra faucet on the sink. This means you do not have to buy water, the water quality is excellent.

An approximately 10 km cliff hiking trail runs in one direction to the small church 'Senhora da Rocha' and in the other direction to the place 'Ferragudo'.
In Carvoeiro, bars and pubs are open until late at night. There are numerous restaurants offering international or typical Portuguese cuisine. In the town of Lagoa, the wine capital of the Algarve, 5 km away, the harvested wine is offered in the cooperative Adega de Lagoa.
