We welcome you to our bright, comfortable house in its own garden, very near to the wide sandy expanse and the crystal clear waters of Chrissi Akti beach.
The house is located in the area of Agioi Apostoloi, 3km west of Chania. This is an unspoilt area providing rest and relaxation in its forest on its beaches.
This one-storey house consists of 2 double bedrooms (one with 2 single beds) sitting room, kitchen, bathroom and a large verandah, extensive garden and parking place. It is possible to accommodate another 2 people on a bed settee which becomes a double bed. An important feature of the house is its many, large windows which flood the rooms with light.
Inside the house is charming. In the cozy sitting room there is an attractive fireplace with large windows and a bookshelf on each side.
All the area is elegantly decorated with small paintings and a hand-made chandelier with candles hangs from the ceiling.
Most of the furniture is traditional and the house contains many attractive ethnic style objects which contribute to its special appeal.
In one corner has been created a pleasant dining area.
The main bedroom contains a large wardrobe with full-length mirror and a king-size rattan bed. From the large window can be seen the fruit trees (orange, lemon, mandarin) in the surrounding garden. The second bedroom contains two traditional single beds, a wardrobe, desk, shelves and an armchair. The window opens onto a view of banana trees.
The fully-equipped kitchen includes a large fridge-freezer, dishwasher, cooker, and washing machine. Also provided are a microwave oven, coffee-making machine, kettle, juicer and all the necessary cooking equipment cutlery, pottery and glasses. The kitchen is fully-fitted with cupboards and a table at which meals can be taken.
The bathroom has been decorated in a modern style and color scheme of rich chestnut brown and turquoise, and contains a shower, small bath and wash basin with useful cupboards and shelves.
One wall of the sitting room opens onto a large verandah overlooking the rich vegetation of the garden with its many flowering plants and selection of different fruit trees. The garden has man attractive corners where the residents can relax under the shade of the trees. There is even a hammock, which is ideal for this. The comfortable sun beds also provide a welcoming area for sunbathing and 3 swings provide fun for children.
Superb barbecue-facilities have been installed in a convenient area with its own herb garden. Under the vine, a large wooden table can seat 10-12 people, so that food can be prepared and immediately enjoyed.
Although the house is located in an area with many facilities it retains its quiet atmosphere since it does not immediately adjoin the road but an area of greenery exists beyond the perimeter wall.
