Needs seriously upgrading

We loved our break in Los Christianos but the apartment is really run down. The balcony looks onto a car park which can get noisey early morning with deliveries. No English speaking channels on the television which I knew about in advance so I did take a load of dvds to watch . Unfortunately the DVD player did not work. I requested a replacement which was left on the kitchen table while we were out the next day. We had to set it up ourselves also the remote was not compatible . Three foot bath was strange ! Shower was over this bath with a shower curtain which flooded the bathroom every time we used it. The decor was a total mis match. Balcony door does not lock and when I asked the agent about this he said no one could break in that way due to the 80foot drop to the ground. The agent that meet us with the keys on arrival did say there had been a couple of break ins recently in the complex but not this apartment. All on all a pocky little apartment in dire need of upgrading . We will be returning to Christianos but definitely not this complex or area.

The balcony is directed to the beach promenade and yes sometimes there are some cars parking (max. 4 cars), but is not noisy as the street is a dead end and most of the cars prefer to park anywhere other as the street is very small. The balcony door can be locked, but it needs some powerful effort. But nobody can get into as the balcony is 7 meters above the ground level.

Perfect location, well furnished apartment

The apartment is very easy to get to from the airport and easy to find. It's in a perfect location, you literally walk out the front gates and you're on the promenade and it's a 1 minute walk to the start of the beach. Despite being so close to the main strip it's really quiet at night and we slept soundly. The apartment has all the amenities you could possibly need for self catering including a handheld blender, which was perfect as we have a 6 month old baby. The host and the housekeeper are really lovely and the communication was easy, polite and friendly. The furniture was modern but some items needed a spruce up. The host and housekeeper bought a cot bed mattress especially for our baby and we thought this was lovely of them. We had a lovely time at the apartment and would stay again if we visit Tenerife in the future. The bottle of wine on arrival was a lovely touch. My only suggestions are to maybe add a guest book and an apartment guide so people could leave tips and advise for other future guests and future guests would know how to use the facilities in the apartment if they are unsure (eg, cooker, tv, washing machine etc). Although the Housekeeper did explain and answered any questions we had. Thank you for a lovely time and we hope to stay again in the future.

Entspricht nicht dem Angebot

Ich habe eine 64 qm große Wohnung mit SAT-TV gemietet, aber nur eine 44 qm große Wohnung ohne SAT-TV ( nur Spanisches DVB-T) bekommen.

Das Schlafzimmer hat als Bett für 2 Personen, ein kleines Bett 180 X 130 cm. Für 2 Kinder oder Jugendliche wohl geeignet, aber nicht für ein erwachsenes Ehepaar.

Im Wohnzimmer fehlt vor der Couch ein Tisch. Man muss sich einen Stuhl zur Ablage seines Getränks vorstellen. Die Schiebetür zum Balkon war schwergängig ( die Führungsschiene total verrostet ) musste erst von uns gefettet werden. Im Bad musste man den lockeren Wasserhahn bei der Bedienung festhalten.

Die ruhige Seitenstraße entpuppte sich als viel frequentierter Strand Zugang mit ständiger Parkplatz suche.

Unter der Wohnung ist kein Lebensmittelmarkt sondern eine Nachtlokal. So das an Schlaf nur in den Morgenstunden zu denken war.

Es war für 3 Wochen Belegung keine Bettwäsche zum wechseln da.

Der Müll musste in der belebten Straße in einen öffentlichen Container entsorgt werden.

Nochmals werden wir diese Wohnung nicht Mieten. Wir werden uns rechtliche schritte zur Mietminderung überlegen.

Owner's Response: Vielen Dank für Ihre Rückmeldung, auf die ich wie folgt eingehen möchte: Die Wohnung hat einen Balkon, der zur "Astra-Satellit-ungünstigen Seite" ausgerichtet ist - leider ist dort keine Antenneninstallation möglich - allerdings wurde bei diesem Apartment auch nie mit Satelliten-TV geworben. Die Größe der Wohnung umfasst auch die Balkonfläche, wobei die 64 m² sicherlich Annäherungswerte sind - wir haben dort nicht mit Architekt und Maßband jede kleine Fläche nachgemessen. Das Bett hat eine normale spanische Größe und ist 1,45m breit - keinesfalls 1,30m! Die Seitenstraße ist eine höchstens 100 Meter lange Sackgasse, wo aufgrund der Enge der Straße gar kein Verkehr sein kann (man kommt nämlich sehr schlecht rückwärts nach oben zurück, was ich selbst schon probiert habe), das vermeintliche Nachtlokal ist ein Restaurant, das zwischen 22.00 und 23.00 Uhr abends schließt. Warum empfinden Sie es als unzumutbar, das man den Müll in einem Müllcontainer außerdem der Anlage entsorgt? Nun möchte ich auf die angeblichen Beanstandungen eingehen: Sie waren 21 Tage auf Teneriffa und haben sich kein einziges Mal bei meinem Kollegen Herrn Lüke gemeldet, der wirklich JEDEM Gast bei der Anreise sagt, das er bei Wünschen oder Problemen jederzeit erreichbar ist! Mein Kollege hätte Ihnen jederzeit einen zusätzlichen Satz Wechselwäsche gebracht, wenn Sie dies geäußert hätten. Zudem ist das Apartment mit einer Waschmaschine ausgestattet, die Sie zwischendurch im Bedarfsfall selbst nutzen können. Nachdem Sie seit fast einer Woche zurück in Deutschland sind, fällt Ihnen plötzlich ein, das eine Tür schwergängig war und der Wasserhahn locker war! Und Sie haben nichts besseres in eine Bewertung zu schreiben als mit "rechtlichen Schritten wegen einer Mietminderung" zu drohen. Ein Schelm, wer dabei Böses denkt! Ging es vielleicht nur darum, Geld zurück zu bekommen? Dies finde ich ehrlich gesagt etwas merkwürdig...

A good place.

We stayed in the flat 3-10 january. We had a great time. Its close to the beach and beachwalk, and easy to park a car in the area. The flat was well cleaned when we arrived. The check in/out was very smooth.

non soddisfacente

l'immobile era esattamente come visto nelle foto, peccato non fosse molto pulito, la posizione strategica sia per la spiaggia che per il porto da dove partire per diverse gite. Se non fosse stato per le pulizie non accurate avrei dato qualche stella in più. Gentilissimo il proprietario e il suo inserviente.

Lei ha scritto una recensione di questo appartamento, ma non ha menzionato nulla dell'appartamento (buona attrezzatura, il silenzio, la piscina, ben complesso situato, ecc). Si lamentano la pulizia, ma quando sei stato a Tenerife non avete chiamato qualcuno per quanto riguarda la pulizia. Non è un buon modo per scrivere qualcosa di simile che ora, dopo il ritorno, quando non siamo in grado di cambiarlo. Abbiamo una buona pulizia pulizia lì e abbiamo avuto molte risposte molto buone da altri ospiti. Così chiunque può organizzarsi la sua opinione riguardo a questa recensione ... ------------------------------------------ Thank you for your review. You have written an review for this apartment, but you did not mention anything of the apartment (good equipment, silence, pool, well situated complex, etc.). You complain about the cleaning, but when you have been on Tenerife you have not called anybody regarding the cleaning. It is not a good way to write something like that now after your return, when we are unable to change it. We have a very good cleaning maid there and we had many very good feedbacks from other guests. So anyone can themselves form his opinion regarding this review...

The apartment is only 50 meters away from the famous beach promenade of Los Cristianos. The port and the whole colorful life on the beach is just a few steps away. From the harbor, the large ferries travel to La Gomera and La Palma. Los Cristianos is located in the south of Tenerife. In the past, the place was a small fishing village and became more and more kept secret among tourists because of the mass tourism has not yet been held so strong catchment, as in other parts of the island.

Nearby is the Siam Park and Aqua Park, you should definitely visit them. The long beach promenade which stretches for miles, begins in Los Cristianos and continues along Playa de las Americas and Costa Adeje and the village of La Caleta.

Los Cristianos is known for its all-the-year climate - many pensioners spend the winter here. There is also a rehabilitation center because of the mild climate.
