Kissamos windmills are located in Drapanias, in a village on the coast, 35 km from the city of Chania and 4 km from Kissamos town, just 500 m from the sea and the endless beach.
The complex consists of 5 windmills and a fairytale castle,
divided into 13 apartments and 2 independent villas.
The visitor can enjoy the bar from the rooftop terrace, which offers a fantastic panoramic view of the Kissamos Gulf with its turquoise waters.
In the complex there is a swimming pool, a children's pool, a playground and a pool bar where you can enjoy breakfast, meals and drinks for an extra charge. (Open from 1. 5. - 15. 10.).
At the pool bar a grill and oven which is usable for all (after consultation with the landlord).

in dieser Anlage sind wirklich alle unglaublich gastfreundlich und hilfsbereit! Was wir nicht wußten: hier ist sogar ein Zimmerservice inbegriffen, wie im Hotel! Haben auch öfters hier zu Abend gegessen, es war immer sehr lecker, man fühlte sich fast, als ob man zur Familie gehört. In Mühle selber kann man aber nur Kleinigkeiten zubereiten, da es nur eine Herdplatte gibt.(Die zweite ist zu winzig für einen Topf)
Die Mühle ist innen und außen sehr liebevoll gestaltet, haben den eigenen Pool sehr genossen, die Villa Sorokos ist auch die einzige, die eigene Liegen hat.
Den Strand vor Ort haben wir nicht besucht, weil Falassarna einen unglaublich schönen Strand hat und der ist mit dem Auto in gut 15 Minuten zu erreichen.
Waren auch in einigen Tavernen in der Nähe und haben eigentlich immer lecker und günstig gegessen.
Erwähnenswert ist auch, daß Kissamos eine ganz nette Strandpromenade mit tollen Tavernen hat, das haben wir leider erst am letzten Tag entdeckt.
Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist auch sehr angemessen.
Wir würden jederzeit wieder hierher kommen!
