Wonderful week's stay at Debbie and Dale's place. The guesthouse was perfect, lots of light, trees, just chirping of the birds. It's in the back of the property so you don't even hear cars. The property is beautiful with a very nice pool, lemon trees, etc. The location is fabulous if you want to be in Beverly Hills. Quick drive or easy walk down Rodeo Drive to the commercial area below Santa Monica Boulevard, a good (longer) walk to West Hollywood; and very easy drive up into the hills (Coldwater Canyon, Franklin Canyon, etc.) for great hiking. I jogged the Flats every morning. As far as communication, Debbie was highly responsive, friendly and straight-forward. We met Dale only briefly but he was very friendly and personable. Would highly recommend this vacation property.
Perfect spot in Beverly Hills
Two of us stayed in the guesthouse in early November, and it was
delightful --we were sorry we couldn't stay longer. Debbie is an absolute pleasure to work with. She responded quickly to emails, gave thorough information, and suggested many things to do in the area based on our interests.
The house is in a quiet, residential neighborhood that feels very safe. I went out for several long walks, going in a different direction each time, and thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful, tree-lined streets. Because we wanted to explore the city as well as surrounding areas, Beverly Hills provided an excellent base. It is convenient to the beaches and to downtown. For many destinations, we were able to avoid freeways , which live up to their reputation of heavy congestion during rush hour.
The photos on the website accurately depict the house and yard. The many windows make this a light and airy space, which both of us loved! It was clean and well-equipped , and it had everything we needed including plenty of towels and extra pillows (for the very comfy beds). We did cook some meals there and had ample utensils, containers, pots, foil, extra trash bags, and quite a few staple items ( oil, balsamic, spices etc). The washer and dryer are in the same building as the guesthouse in a room below it, so they are easy to access. The November temps made it a little chilly for using the pool or the deck, but on warmer days, they would be perfect areas for just relaxing.
In finding a place to stay in LA, we were looking for a place that was quiet, safe, and pleasant for long walks, but that also had ready access to places to explore in and around LA. The Beverly Hills guesthouse provides all this and more. It is a hidden oasis, and we definitely plan to return.
I rented this studio for myself and daughter and son in law. We had everything we needed for the week. The owner welcomed us and showed us around. She was always around if we should need anything which is always great to know. We were very comfortable and would not hesitate to rent again when I come back to the area.
We loved the place, it felt like coming home after a day in LA. Great not having to eat out for breakfast, lunch And dinner all the time. But if you want to.... "every" possible restaurant is nearby!

Very clean And enough towels for bathroom And pool. The appartment felt very safe. In a beautiful neigbourhood near a nice part of LA. Loved to wake up with the sound of singing birds in the garden!! Use of a waschingmachine and dryer. An open kitchen which had everything we needed.
A great big pool we had for ourselves during the day time. The pool lies next to the owners house, no worries, they give you all the privacy you need!
The owners are very helpfull, kind and friendly. They also give you your privacy And are there for you when you need them.
We loved to stay here with our two girls 13 And 16 years old. We were sad to leave!
We throughly enjoyed our seven night stay in mid June. Both hosts Deborah and husband Dale were engaging and helpful regarding our stay in LA including suggestions of places to visit. The property is located in a beautiful tree lined street in Beverly Hills, with easy access to nearby shops, restaurants, cafes and parks. It is also well located, near Sunset and Santa Monica Bulevards, allowing easy access to all parts of the city, including Malibu, Santa Monica, Hollywood Blvd, and Mulholland Drive. The property itself is spacious, bright and airy and has a delightful large balcony complete with furniture on which we enjoyed our breakfasts and dinner. The apartment is well appointed with a well equipped kitchen, large living area, which also has additional single beds and closet. The master bedroom has a seating area with lots of glass windows. With ceiling fans and air conditioning the property was easy to cool, and with the windows open during the evening the cross breezes naturally cooled the apartment. We also enjoyed access to the hosts laundry, which included both large washer and dryer. Overall, we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay, and would definitely stay there again. We highly recommend this property.

PAYMENT: The first half of your payment is due within one week of booking;once received, the unit will be reserved. Guests are responsible for all transaction fees. Paypal and credit cards add 2.5% to the total for domestic transactions; 3.75% to the total for international transactions. This fee will be deducted from the deposit upon departure.
PARKING – Parking is limited to one vehicle (small or midsize). Please be aware that the house is a historic property, the driveway is narrow and the parking area is tight.
CANCELLATION by Guest – Cancellations forfeit whatever payments have been have been received at the time of the cancellation. If we are able to rent the apartment during the same period we will return the rental amount for the nights we are able to fill, less the amount of the deposit.
CANCELLATION By Owner – The Owner reserves the right to cancel the agreement at any time prior to Guest taking possession of the property, due to a family emergency or emergencies that may arise due to a plumbing, electrical or heating malfunction. In such event, all payments made by the Guest to the Owner will be fully refunded, and the Owner will not be held be liable for any damages of any sort incurred by Guest as a result of such cancellation.
INDEMNIFICATION - The apartment is privately owned; the Owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. Guest agrees to release and indemnify Owner from and against all liability should anyone be injured upon the premises during the the term of occupancy, resulting from any cause whatsoever, except in the case of personal injury cause by willful gross negligence on the part of the owner. The Owners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the Guest. By accepting this reservation, all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises.
