Beautiful cottage on the island of Aarø, it was built in 2014. A ceiling open to the ridge lets a lot of light into the interior, in addition there are large windows. A half wall separates the kitchen from the living room, here the whole family enjoys the vacation together. Heat pumps ensure low energy consumption and thus costs, at the same time there is also a cozy fireplace. In the house there are good beds and the furnishings testify to good taste of the owners. On the partially covered terrace you have the opportunity to enjoy different seasons. On the island you can swim well, typical for an island it is never far to the sea. There are only a few cars on the island. A round trip around the whole island by bike can be managed even by the younger members of the family. On the way you can possibly visit the beautiful adventure playground, it is not far from the house. You can also go shopping on the island. A visit to the farm Brummers Gård is a real experience, here they offer specialties from Danish islands. You can also taste meat from the exclusive Galloway cattle in the restaurant. At Brummers you can also rent bicycles, also sea kayaks, a fishing net for children and boller carts ? everything you might need on a real island trip. The island's winemaker also offers locally produced wine with dinner. You can also arrange a wine tasting at the wine grower. The ferry Helene takes you from Aarø on a beautiful trip through the 12 km long fjord to Haderslev. Haderslev is a beautiful old town with good specialty stores and museums. When you arrive at the ferry harbor you will learn that the ferry leaves once an hour and if there is a need, it leaves more often so that you can reach the island in the course of 15 minutes. In the harbor there are fishing boats and ships of recreational captains. There is good fishing all over the island.
