The cottage in south-facing slope is located on the 'Bockhorn' in about 550 m altitude in a cottage area in the small town Wemlighausen, a suburb of Bad Berleburg in beautiful countryside near the bison-wilderness and the Rothaarsteig.
This former farm with its beautiful half-timbered houses and farms is about 3.5 km from the city center. In the village itself there is a grocery girl where everything necessary can be bought.
Right through the Wemlighausen flows Marienehe a creek with crystal clear water, teeming with fish.
The scenery is beautiful. Recreation seekers, hikers and cyclists superior level (road bike or mountain bike) and in winter cross-country skiers will find ideal conditions.
Bad Berleburg with its centuries-old castle, which is partially occupied by the princes of Sayn-Wittgenstein, offers a variety of cultural events. Frequently hosts concerts and performances that are worth a visit. His Highness, the Prince of Sayn and Wittgenstein, are now and then some of its rooms free to visit.
The interior of the house is very comfortable, tasteful and color co-ordinated. It is equipped with real carpets, pictures and various light sources that create a cozy atmosphere.
The living room has two large sliding glass elements which allow a free view into nature. Adjacent is the across the width of the house extending balcony. Three steps lead to the garden, which terminates at an unsecured slope (small children must be supervised).
