The house is located in Bromley, a calmer area within London. The city center is easily accessible by public transport, a bus stop is right in front of the house.

On the upper floor there are three bedrooms. Among them, a large bedroom with a double bed and an extra rollaway bed. The second room is furnished with a double bed and a desk. The smaller single room has a bed and a wardrobe.

On the ground floor the living / dining area with a large table and two sofas, and a TV and a substantial DVD collection. One of the sofas can be used as a sofa bed (1-2 persons). The fully equipped kitchen is ideal for cooking. The bathroom has before a shower / tub.

Another highlight of the house is the garden with terrace, which invites with its seating to relax.

Great place to stay close to London

Great for transport - bus stops right outside. Great house for the family, good kitchen and bedrooms. We did miss our shower though. The smell of cigarettes though out the house was noticeable as we are non smokers. But overall it was a lovelly place to stay.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your comment, and am very sorry to hear about the smell of smoke. This is a non smoker place, but it seems that the guests before you ignored this. I am glad you were still able to enjoy your stay. We will try anything to get rid of this smell.

Gemütlich, aber deutlich kleiner als auf den Fotos.

Gute Aufteilung der Räume und gemütliche Betten. Ansonsten aber schon etwas in die Jahre gekommene, abgewohnte Ausstattung. In der Küche fehlten grosse Kochtöpfe, ebenso eine Wäscheleine. Auswahl an Londonlektüre/Stadtplänen.

Sehr nette Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin vorab und der Ansprechpartnerin vorort, die uns auch sehr gut bei der Anfahrt mit Bus und Bahn beraten haben.

ruhige Liondon Lage

Sehr nette, ruhige Lage, mit Bushaltestelle fast direkt vor der Tür. Dieser Bus bringt einen direkt in den netten Stadtteil Bromley, wo man gute Restaurants, Pubs und eine große Einkaufstraße und Supermarkt findet. Ich empfehle sehr dort einzukaufen, da es billiger ist, als im direkten Stadtzentrum. Nach London City gelangt man schnell mit Bus und Bahn und auch der Nachhauseweg nachts ist machbar. Das Haus an sich ist einfach eingerichtet, bietet aber alles was man benötigt. Zudem ist es sehr schön eine Terasse zu haben, die im Sommer sicherlich wunderbar zum entspannen ist. Die Küche ist voll nutzbar, so dass man sich auch mal ein kleines Essen selber kochen kann. Die Gegend ist sehr sicher und man braucht keine Angst haben hier auch Nachts die Straße lang zu laufen.

Alles in allem ein sehr netter Aufenthalt, ich kann es nur empfehlen.

Ruhiges Haus mit Blick zum Grove Park

Ein Bus hält idealerweise direkt vorm Haus und führt in kurzer Zeit zu der Railwaystation Bromley South von dort gehen ständig Züge ins Zentrum von London. Das Haus selber ist komplett eingerichtet und vefügt über einen typisch englischen vornehmen Stil. Ein kleiner Garten lädt zum Relaxen. Die Gegend macht einen sehr sicheren Eindruck. Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert.

Gemütlich und komfortabel ausgestattet

Das Haus ist praktisch und mit vielen liebevollen Details eingerichtet; es wurde an alles gedacht. In der Küche ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht, um schön zu kochen. Bettzeug, Handtücher alles da.

Der Ausblick durch den Garten hin zum dahinterliegenden Park war schon Ende Januar sehr schön, also wird es in den Sommermonaten bestimmt noch schöner sein, wenn man Grillen und den Garten zum Sonnen oder Frühstücken benutzen kann.

Alles in allem ein gelungener Urlaub in einer tollen Unterkunft!

The central yet quiet location of the house is ideal for exploring London during the day and relaxing in the garden in the evening. But also the nearby town of Bromley is worth a visit. Here are restaurants for every taste, original English pubs, but without the crowds like in Central London. Nearby, next to the holiday home there are still numerous parks and trails that invite you to stroll. Various golf clubs, cinemas and fitness centers are ideal for recreational activities.

Within 30 - 45 minute numerous local attractions by bus can be reached. For adventurers especially the Chislehurst caves are recommended, which can be explored during a tour. A Roman villa, the Bromley Museum and a Roman bathhouse are a great way to discover Bromley's past. Medieval architecture and influences from the early 20th century. Century are united in the Eltham Palace, which was originally built for millionaires and is also known for its beautiful gardens. The Down House, where the world-famous scientist Charles Darwin lived for 40 years and worked on his theories, is definitely also worth a visit.

The bus to Bromley stops right outside and takes you to the center in about 10 minutes. From there, also London Victoria Station in only 15 minutes away. In the other direction it is 5 minutes by bus to Grove Park. From there you get into just 15 minutes to London Bridge from where all the city's attractions are easy to reach.
