Cabin, 2 Bedrooms (one loft style), 1 Bath, (Sleeps 2-4)
My name is Christie. I am helping the Boathouse family with making reservations and managing reservations for their beautiful property. I live in the area and have also worked in and around the park for over 15 years. I enjoy hiking in Glacier as much as possible, rafting and swimming in Lake McDonald. Feel free to contact me anytime with any questions you may have regarding the home, location or activities in the area.
Why Christie chose West Glacier
The owner's family homesteaded on land further north on Lake McDonald prior to it becoming a National Park. A devastating fire destroyed the original home so the family was able to acquire the present land. The original house on the current land was taken down to accommodate the current homes.
What makes this Cabin unique
Our cabin is located in Glacier Park and has a phenomenal view of Logan Pass and the Going-to-the-Sun Road. We enjoy the 'hidden away' private cabin but we have access to restaurants, shopping and golf in Apgar and West Glacier and other activities located in surrounding towns.

Great Boathouse retreat
Property was as described and in a good location for visiting Glacier Park. The layout is a little unusual in that there are two staircases, one up to each bedroom. You can't get from one to the other without going downstairs. Also, the only bathroom is downstairs. It is very well equipped as far as dishware goes. Not much counter space. If you aren't a cook, you wouldn't mind.
Would be nice if the owners allowed the use of their kayaks or pedal boat for renters.
All in all, a good stay.
Glacier vacation 2019

A weekend at Glacier
Overall, the place is perfect for 2 couples or a small family. Perfect location, amenities, etc. You won't be disappointed.
Beautiful Lake Front Property
Comfortable place to relax by the water after a hard day hiking!
A wonderful home base for discovering this great National Park. Starting and ending your day in this home just adds to the already amazing experience
Can’t beat the view!
This place is great! I wish we could have stayed longer. Comfortable for a family of four - second bedroom is open loft style so best for older kids that can stay up late. Christie was very responsive to all of our questions and extremely helpful. Best food is at Sunflower Cafe in the camping ground on Rt 2- breakfast and lunch is worth the drive.
