In the midst of the lake district, halfway between Berlin and the Baltic Sea, nestled in idyllic lakes and vast, silent forests, lies the Useriner lake. It is surrounded by acres of land on the edge. Here you can indulge in your dreams or watch from the terrace jays and woodpeckers in the Müritz National Park. Enjoy far away from any hustle and bustle hikes or long walks through the untouched nature. Numerous lakes, endless forests, no mass tourism - ideal for families and nature lovers!

Not every day is a swimming day - so you may follow the footsteps of Kurt Tucholsky and walk on paths in the Prussian Rhine mountain. Or discover the baroque architecture of the nearby town of Neustrelitz. Neustrelitz was founded in 1733 as the residence of the Dukes of Mecklenburg-Strelitz. Notable, among other things, the Ducal Palace Gardens, orangery, the Mecklenburg State Theatre, the Castle Church and the newly renovated town church with the third highest tower of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The view from the observation deck provides an unforgettable impression of the square marketplace with its eight star-shaped emanating in all directions roads. A stroll through the streets of Neustrelitz reminded at every step of the heyday of the city in the 19th Century. The unusual, late baroque town system is considered unique in Europe. Beats here today with pedestrian zone, shops, restaurants, and City Museum the heart of the old town Neustrelitzer.
