TO PASING !!!
Pasing is perhaps the liveliest neighborhood in the west of Munich. There is always something going on around the train station and Marienplatz. If you want to experience something culturally, you are well advised to visit the Pasing factory. The district of the villa and the city park with its inviting, generous green areas are characteristic of the district.
The cultural offer in Pasing is diverse. This is mainly due to the Pasinger factory. There is a wide range of theater and opera performances here. In addition, constantly changing exhibitions by young or already established artists can be seen. The Kupa West houses the studios of artists who exhibit their works in the premises of the former envelope factory. The Ebenböckhaus is well worth a visit. During the summer months, the garden and ground floor rooms are used for cultural events. For young people there is the aquarium youth center. There are often concerts by young bands and in the various workshops young people themselves can be artistically active.
Not a few people refer to Pasing as a "city in the city". And indeed, if you look at the lively activity around the Marienplatz and the Pasinger station, then this term is quite true. The diverse shopping possibilities leave nothing to be desired. The Pasing Arcaden are now as popular as the Olympia shopping center. The Gleichmannstraße between the train station and Marienplatz attract many passers-by to the shopping streets in the city center such as Leopoldstrasse or Kaufingerstraße. And the Viktualienmarkt in Pasing offers as many fresh delicacies as its eponymous counterpart in the old town.
