Despite its proximity to the Costa Canaria El Tablero is a really 'Spanish' place without tourist crowds. The beaches such as walking areas, there are but only a few km.

Ideal for cycling.

The south of Gran Canaria is sun safe and has magnificent dunes beaches, only the coasts are unfortunately obstructed with high rise hotels. Just a few miles behind this rather artificial world but there are still real Spanish cities. The apartment is in a place like El Tablero, already located on 160m height, so to speak, at the foot of the mountains grankanarischen. It is a fully furnished apartment in a normal Spanish apartment building and NOT a typical holiday apartment in a tourist area or facility. We live even several months a year there.

There are 2 bikes (21 speed) and two bike trailer, which we however only provide bail and extra price. We can arrange a pick up service at the airport. We give you also can hire a car from a fair landlord, in which we ourselves often rent. The bring the car to the airport when you arrive and get it there on departure. -

The apartment is in a normal multi-party house, almost all residents are resident Spaniards. The house is close to the village of El Tablero.

The small town of El Tablero is located in the south of Gran Canaria just a few miles from the sea behind the tourist resorts of Playa del Ingles and Maspalomas. Also to the next hiking area is only a few km. El Tablero itself is a thoroughly Spanish village with 7000 inhabitants, the majority of people working in some form in tourism. From the original farming village only a few houses can be seen, most of the development has taken place in the last 30 years. El Tablero offers some tapas bars + restaurants, great shopping, supermarkets, including a Mercadona (qualitatively about how REWE) with an excellent fresh fish counter, bakery and other small shops. You will find important services such as hairdressers, gym, massage, watchmakers, vet or dentist - everything you could possibly need.

The apartment is located in the town. A small plaza with a bar is 3 min walk to the original village. Parking directly in front of the house there is only happiness, but near you could always find a free parking space. There is a supermarket on the ground floor of the same house, and the main shopping area is not far away.

The nearby tourist zone Maspalomas offers everything from car and bike rental on diving courses up to the water park. In El Tablero is from 23 clock in the evening nothing going on in Playa del Ingles (a € 5 taxi ride away) there is an extensive (tourist) nightlife.

After Maspalomas drive to the beach a line bus, bike, it is about 15-20 minutes there to foot, it takes about an hour. A taxi there costs € 4-5. - There are over the highway to airport 20 minutes to the island capital, Las Palmas, it is a good half hour. Are very close to other hidden sandy and rocky beaches, completely unused by mass tourism

Towards the island of affairs - a few miles behind El Tablero begin the Rocky Mountains and offer excellent walks and bike rides through the barren, almost human-less landscape with its bizarre cactus and euphorbia.

Die Wohnung befindet sich im 2. Stock, die Dachterrasse mit der als 2.Schlafzimmer nutzbare Dachhütte darüber im 3.Stock. Die verbindung dazwischen ist nur über das allgemeine Treppenhaus möglich. Da es sich nicht um ein Ferienressort handelt, gelten hier die spanischen tendenziell eher konservativen Bekleigungregeln und Sie können nicht in z.B. Unterhosen oder Bikini durchs Treppenhaus laufen.
Natürlich konnen Sie im Laufe der Zeit auch mal eine Party veranstalten, aus Rücksicht auf die meist arbeitenden Nachbarn kann aber nicht nächtelang durchgefeiert werden.
