This flat is the top floor of a historic home on beautiful grounds in the trendy Highlands Neighborhood just fifteen minutes walk from downtown Denver. You have views of both downtown Denver, and the Rocky Mountains. There is a private entrance to the flat that also leads to a balcony overlooking the backyard and mountain views.
In addition to being very close to downtown Denver, Convention Center, Coors Field, Sports Authority Field, and the Pepsi Center, you are located in an area where there are several top-rated restaurants and boutiques within walking distance of this property.
Easy access to I-25 (North/South through city) and I-70 (1 1/2 hour to ski areas).
We have lived in the neighborhood for over 18 years. We live in the lower level of this house and it is our dream home. Maintaining the house and gardens is a labor of love for us. We have been hosting through VRBO for over 7 years and have thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We have met people from all over the world.
Darci Cherry & Dave Gerbig purchased this apartment in 2007
We had a fantastic stay at Bryant Street Flat. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Denver. A simply elegant decor with all the amenities. Clean and very comfortable. Close to major highway connections for your touring ease, yet within walking distance of local eateries. The absolutely only draw back for some would be the three flight stairway to the apartment. We hope to return to Bryant Street Flat when in Denver again!
Fantastic flat. Beautiful, historical, well situated. It was perfect for our family of 4. We played on the playground and walked to get pizza and dessert after dinner. Lots to do around Highlands, fun neighborhood for the kids . Easy access to the Highway and LoDo. All amenities included. Great pressure in the pipes, not to mention the jetted tub in one of the bedrooms. TV and books in the living room. There is a DVD player, so you can rent or bring movies. Air conditioners in both bedrooms, floor heaters for winter. Friendly cats next door.
The owners are very approachable. I called before booking to chat about my kids and our late arrival. Neither was a problem. They even set up a pack and play for us, so we wouldn't have to do it when we got in.
The Flat is 3 stories up and those are tall stairs, but the view is great up there and worth the climb.
Would absolutely recommend to others and try to return whenever possible.
Thank you for our lovely stay.
P.S. I loved the bedding set in the master bedroom, where is it from?
The backyard and grounds were amazing and the flat was in large, roomy and furnished nicely. The owners had thought of everything which really made our stay very comfortable. Also, the owners were supper friendly and helpful which really helped to make our stay memorable. Lastly, the location was amazing- we could walk to many restaurants and bars. We were a 5 min drive to downtown. I would highly recommend this house to anyone who wants to experience the True Denver Life style.
We love staying at Bryant Street Flat! Always a great experience!
Very comfortable an well-kept flat on the top floor of a historic Highlands neighborhood mansion. Owners made us feel at home - the fresh baked banana bread on arrival was a nice touch! My only criticism is that when the flat was remodeled very little attention was paid to the historical integrity of the building - the fixtures, doors, hardware, carpet, etc appear to be right off the shelf of cookie-cutter home suppliers Home Depot and Lowes. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay completely
We just returned from a three-night stay at the Bryant Street Flat. I was traveling with my two sons, ages 4 and 6, and this vrbo had everything we needed. The yard includes a large play structure and sandbox for kids, and you can keep an eye on them from the kitchen window. Everything is clean and the kitchen has all the basics plus some extras like spices and some plastic containers for picnics. Darci and Dave seem to have thought of everything; you are a bit cold on the couch and there are blankets in a basket next to you, or you finish reading your novel and there are 20 books of various genres in the master bedroom. There is a pack and play for babies and toddlers. Plenty of linens and towels are provided.
The house is in a historic district and street parking was available, and we were a quick drive to anything we needed. The Highlands downtown seemed like a good place to hang out or have a meal and older children and adults could walk there easily.
One item to note: you have to climb some steep stairs outside to get to the flat. I am a 40ish mom with two kids and this presented no problem except I struggled a bit with our suitcase, but someone with physical limitations might have trouble with the steps.
Highly recommended for families or small groups.
1 mile from Coors Field, Pepsi Center, Invesco Field, LODO.
Ski: Ski areas are all 1 to 1 1/2 hours from Denver. Loveland, Breckenridge, Keystone, Vail, Arapahoe Basin, Copper Mountain, Eldora are all easy day trips from Denver.
